Here are the facts of what happened that day:

The Q&A was announced to be OVER & Meyer started throwing a fit because he wasn't going to get to ask a question. He started yellig & cursing at Kerry & pushing his way to the nearest mic. He was confronted by ACCENT(the group that had sponsored the forum & that was moderating the Q&A) members AND Police & he was asked, then ORDERED to leave. Meyer, by his own admission in his written interview for MSBNC, refused to do so. cont)

cont) That's Disturbing the Peace &, under Fl law, Trespassing. He was being removed, by Police, when Kerry intervened & asked that he be allowed to ask his question. Though they had no obligation to do so ACCENT & Police chose to honor this request & escorted Meyer to the mic but their doing so did NOT mean that the was immune from the forum rules & it did NOT mean that the Police were going to just forget all about his ILLEGAL actions. cont)

cont) Meyer was told by Police, PRIOR to speaking at the mic, that they were going to need to talk to him after his question(thus their being behind him the entire time he was at the mic) & he was reminded about the forum rules. Those rules were:ONE question per person(he asked 5+), 30 seconds to preface it(he talked for a minute & a half before the mic was cut) & everyone was told that ANY use of obscenities would result in ACCENT cutting the mic(he said "blowjob"). cont)

cont) Meyer CHOSE to break ALL of those rules & ACCENT Director Max Tyroler chose to exercise his right to enforce them, just like they said they would do if they were broken, & gave the signal to cut the power to that mic. The Police were then escorting him out, to talk to him just like they told him they needed to do, NOT arresting him as you & so many others to fallaciously contend. Not until his continued ILLEGAL actions warrented it, that is. cont)

cont) He CHOSE to violently resist that lawful removal & tried to get others to interfere with the Police. That's Resisting an Officer with Violence & Inciting a Riot & THAT is why he was arrested. He made another attempt to get away from the Police, at the back of the room, & was taken to the ground where he CHOSE to be drive-stunned by CHOOSING to ignore their REPEATED, lawful, orders to stop resisting even AFTER being warned that he would be "tased" if he did not comply. cont)

Absolutely appalling. We didn't agree with the "angry white guy" at convention that talked too long and made us roll our eyes. Neither did we arrest nor tase him. We just voted against him.
