Totally a different outlook on Pac. He was political and he loved black people and fought for equality. People see Pac's violent persona and label him a thug and miss the whole message that he had for the world.

The persona was just the means to draw attention to his cause and message. As Easy E called it, studio gangsters. Tupac was as much a thug as Dre or Eminem are. He just didn't live long enough to accumulate the cash flow like they have. Tupac's death was the classic death by association.

Tha Outlawz confirmed this, and Tupac himself said this in the interview with Rob Marriott and at the end of the unreleased version of As The World Turns, which just leaked 2 weeks ago or so.
