Sorry to say... but not not really sorry to say. I like her voice better when she was purging.. and hurting herself. It sounds much more clean, (but raspy) but has more power to it. I don't know the new voice she has now (Repaired) is not soothing to my ears. I guess I'm used to her raspy voice, but still. Oh well. Glad she got better.

I've talked to more stupid people from USA than from Sweden, and I've talked to more people in Sweden. I might've been unlucky, but so far, it's still correct. The southern states and northern states are almost like two completely different countries culturally. Southern people are less educated, more religious, and have a serious problem with obesity. That is also true for mexican immigrants in our country, which brings up the overall statistics on obesity, religion, and lack of education.

If that is what you mean then that is wrong, your options after high school are to either go to college, or get certifications (fast job training) which will qualify you for certain jobs. You can also do internships (work for free/learn), work experience in your field is valued more than college degrees here, but if you have both it's even better.
@YourLoveLetter A lot of colleges in USA have an open admissions policy which swedish universities and colleges don't.If you want to get in to a school in sweden, you need to study VERY hard. We offer free education for all AS LONG AS you have the grades that are required for the school you are applying to.I think that could be why people would think that america isn't the most educated. @rewardischeeze No universities that I know of have open admissions, you are thinking of junior colleges. Our general term for schools of higher education is "college", unless you are talking about junior college vs a university. Junior college only awards associates degrees and anyone can go there, if you want a bachelors degree or higher you have to go to a university, and you have to be accepted there based on grades and SAT scores. In some a B- will get you kicked out, they can be strict.

@rewardischeeze Well, what usually happens is because of our terrible economy right now going to a junior college first is cheaper to take general classes at, so we first go there to earn cheaper credits, then we get transferred to a university for a bachelors degree (or whatever degree). So we would be graduating at a university, but some people do settle for just an associates degree and graduate from a junior college. Good luck! everyone here loves the Swedish students.

@Werewolf211 Our colleges are the best/most difficult in the world, programs take longer to complete because you have to earn more credits and do extensive research/internships to complete higher degrees. People come here to study because of that reason. Wow, everyone calls the US America..have you been hiding under a rock? lol. @YourLoveLetter I'm not saying it can't be used in that way. I'm saying it's incorrect, since it would refer to everyone living on that continent. North Americans would be more correct, but it'd still include more than USA. It's me being really picky more than anything though. Someone from Mexico is American too. Someone from Chile is American. That's why it doesn't make sense in my head. It just doesn't.

It's pretty obvious, it's in our countries actual name for one, and if you know anything about American exploration and the colonization you would know we have history with the name, and that it was given to us. Legally its actually perfectly correct, you aren't an american until you earn citizenship in the US. A mexican american is a mexican with american citizenship.

@YourLoveLetter That's a very poor argument. People started a war, claimed the place for themselves and called it America. That's the whole story. They then made it into states and made a higher organ that would make the general rules for those states. What about it? The continent is still America. USA just means your states are the united states, and not separate states or countries. However, they are still from America.

Other than that, it's pretty much exactly the same. We let the countries be a little more free when it comes to laws and such things though. We can say that we're European, but even Norweigans who aren't a part of the EU are European. I'm amazed that this person doesn't understand this.

So if you want to act stupid and go even "deeper" there is no such thing as a state or country and only cities are individuals. That isn't what a country is though, its a collection of cities/states inside the borders of one controlling government. It's not that complicated kids.

We have one government, federal laws, and we all practice/live under the same constitution, this defines us as a single country. You can think of our states like districts or cities if you want, each district or city has its own laws too... does that mean they are the same as a separate country? And the british called us americans first, then rest of the world, we never gave ourselves that name.

@YourLoveLetter I've already written it. The European Union doesn't have as strict rule as your government has. That's why it's the same, but different. We could be like USA, but we're not, since we want to be individual countries. However, laws that come from the EU are ones that all members of EU have to apply in their countries. Also, you are Americans. You live in America, so that's obvious. We are Europeans. Someone from Iraq is Asian. Someone from Egypt is African.

@jjoeshaw I'm not clear on what you mean, do you mean job qualifications? If that is what you mean then that is wrong, your options after high school are to either go to college, or get certifications (fast job training) which will qualify you for certain jobs. You can also do internships (work for free/learn), work experience in your field is valued more than college degrees here, but if you have both it's even better.

@YourLoveLetter A lot of colleges in USA have an open admissions policy which swedish universities and colleges don't.If you want to get in to a school in sweden, you need to study VERY hard. We offer free education for all AS LONG AS you have the grades that are required for the school you are applying to.I think that could be why people would think that america isn't the most educated. I don't think americans are more stupid than others, but the stupid ones sure are LOUDER than the smart ones.

@rewardischeeze No universities that I know of have open admissions, you are thinking of junior colleges. Our general term for schools of higher education is "college", unless you are talking about junior college vs a university. Junior college only awards associates degrees and anyone can go there, if you want a bachelors degree or higher you have to go to a university, and you have to be accepted there based on grades and SAT scores. In some a B- will get you kicked out, they can be strict.

But still, they're a part of the percentage of college graduates right (the junior colleges)? Don't get me wrong here, I was simply having a theory, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with it, hell, I'm going to USA to study (more for merits though than full education) one semester next year myself.

@rewardischeeze Well, what usually happens is because of our terrible economy right now going to a junior college first is cheaper to take general classes at, so we first go there to earn cheaper credits, then we get transferred to a university for a bachelors degree (or whatever degree). So we would be graduating at a university, but some people do settle for just an associates degree and graduate from a junior college. Good luck! everyone here loves the Swedish students.
