@callum122 there are comps, just not in the U.S. until this year. Boston in August Red Bull is putting on a competition. The diving will be a much higher degree of difficulty as well.

This is absolutely crazy. I guess 100 feet isn't really that dangerous - one of the guys blew his dive and lived, although he did sever his tongue and have a "lower back injury". How do these guys practice these dives? Can you imagine doing this stuff for the peanuts they get paid to do it? Nuts.

@p1q0 They got paid pretty well to do these televised events. And it's pretty dangerous. Canada's wonderland had a diver land on his back from 100 ft 5-6 years ago and was in the hospital with a ruptured spleen and a spine injury.
