Hey assholes, it's called find a good volume on your computer and leave it at that! Or, if you have a decent PC, go to your sound card options and make sure you have Loudness Equalization on, because for me, I had no problem hearing either the intro nor the tutorial itself. What I have read about this device is that it is made for small screens such as ipod etc. But will come out grainy on a desktop. No matter Im going to try this product as I have many old vhs stuff that needs transferring. I have 4gb sdhc which they say it will accept I just need a reader.

The sound was so loud on this that it could make the deaf hear again. Also all that put intro via game systems blast your ears out. Only need a tenth of that sound . These kind of things are for people wanting to know how to do things not to have their eardrums blasted out.

so to do this you need to purchase to items totaling about $160. is it worth it to transfer vhs to pc. cant you do the same thing if have a camcorder with an av input and hook it up to the vcr record then transfer to your pc via 1394 firewire if you that capability if you dont it can be easily rendered.

I realized while watching this, that you can also record the screen of one computer to another computer or to this device. You will need additional adapters or cables to do so.

I have tried software recording the screen running both source and recording on same machine where the result is many lost pictures or low framerate.

What happens to the people who do not buy the upgraded product? They force you into buying it because they quit selling the items that are needed to make the product usable. EX.. The Neuros will take the red/yellow/white plugs and capture the video from your VCR to a flash disk for you. At that point, you simply use the flash disk to get the data to your computer. It's very simple and cheaper than buying a video capture card.
