  • Ted Nugent sucks, so does his goofball politics...worst guitar player ever recorded. Truly a man with no musical soul at all and nothing upstairs but a little walnut that works overtime.

  • @defleppardfan69 They weren't mainstream back in the day and nobody thought they would last!!

  • @Tomcaatt I'm in Memphis now used to live in Cincy Ohio back in the

    late 60s early 70s

  • TED FOR PRESIDENT!

  • @Tomcaatt Then he wouldn't have time for concerts! There's the rub!!! LOL!!!

  • Very Cool, saw them years back and they were great, saw Nuge in early 80's and walked out, nothing but babbling all thru the show, pitiful.

  • To each his own.

  • Wow, this is history. Any more to the audio? What year was this? What does Amboy Dukes mean?

  • it was the name of a jewish gang from some book i think

  • I wish there was more... thanks for the tease.

  • looks like a gibson ES-335

  • He sweated the pickups out on his byrdland, kind of matches his headband.

  • That IS a 335.

  • You win the grand prize! LOL! Looks kind of cool on him, hugh?

  • I used to have two of those. I wish I had one of them back.

  • They are a very versitile guitar. Always loved Alvin Lees.

  • Anybody know where to get "marriage on the rocks" by amboy dukes? My cassette copy that I got in a car wash in the early '80s is toast. .......It's a really trippy one if you can find it.

  • I got two of the albums.. no cassettes

  • I wore out the eight tracks....

  • Yeahh...I've still got my '69 vinyl c®py,

you can still find it if you try,

even on some share sites ,like Soulseek ♫

  • this is not video

  • I saw Ted Nugent & the Amboy Dukes play in

Peoria Il. in 1971...good weed was $15/ounce

and Ted blew the roof off of that place!!

    My first concert...Tickets were $5 ea.WOW!

  • Wow! My first concert was the Beach Boys in 63

Good Vibrations was just the begining. First time Ted was in 69-I think at the Ludlow Garage in Cincy Still had Greg Arama on Bass, David Palmer on Drums although Ted said that those were his last gigs with the band. Andy Solomon on Organ. They were playing all of the earlier songs all night, I had to leave and they were still playing. Those were the days.

  • The Amboy Dukes with Andy Solomon were the best progressive rock band of the late 60's. Marriage on The Rocks is way ahead of its time and hardly anyone knows it exists. Nugent showcased his talents on that one, but it was the ensemble cast that made it work. Not too much Ted, just enough.. with great backing tracks from Andy and the boys.

  • There's no u in forty.

  • Dang it! I thot that looked funny! Ha!

  • There is, however, a u and a g and an h in thought.☺

  • Well move your head left to right 10 times!

  • this looks like it was taken at a place the back door.
