I have had people suggest making an instructional DVD....but it would be pretty time consuming. I do have a instructional CD with detailed instructions with lots of images, and it took me about two months to put it all together.

At one point I had a video camera inside the truck with a wireless transmitter. It was a cheap one, so the picture quality was poor. I wanted to plow from inside the house, and view it on the TV. I was then going to edit the various views together.

I made one of those too. Unfortunately, I made it slightly too large for this truck to move around easily. I may make another one, a bit smaller, at some point.

how about adapting one of those electric snow shovels to a 1/4 scale... hrmm...

Those run on AC not DC, unless they make rechargable ones now. Also, I have only seen a few 1/4 scale trucks on the market, and they were very expensive.

as for the ac motor: swap it for an r/c motor.. maybe a 700 or an 800 cheapie brushed.

1/4 scale are expensive. bu tthere are alternatives.. with your fabricating skills you could probably design a 1/4 frame with another of those 800 motors driving it.. throw a 1/4 scale body on it and away you go.

The only production plow I know of is for the E-Maxx. Tower hobbies has them...I think.
