At 5:54, did you use FSRecoder (or Active Camera) and replay in traffic mode and then fly in a helicopter above the plane as it landed. You can hear the chopper's engine. :D

No it is normal FS recorder replay mode....I just added the chopper's engine.

Does payware model inside VC allow you to turn around like fsx eq to look around the panels and gauges unlike normal default views?

i used to use realatis but my current version isn't compatible with windows 7

I use ASV6 for my real weather.

You can fetch the weather at your destination destination weather using ASV6.

I then import my route into ASV6 ...after processing I close down ASV6

I always have the charts available for my flights. I will know my SID, STAR and Approach before I takeoff..

If there are parallel runways I also check which is the to/arr runway IRL so I can ask FS ATC for the correct runway.

The model is by Aerosim (payware) Classic Freighters 2.

The panel is my own creation and not available.

I have two more DC8 flights to do...Silverback Cargo and MK Airlines.

Your video uploads never fail to impress me! So much mastery of systems, graphics, etc etc. Are you familiar with the Chania (LGSA) 29 left-hand visual? This is an amazing approach, and the downwind takes you right over the bay before entering base. We did this on a MON3588 (A306) flight in the summer, approaching initially on the PLH 2F star. It would be amazing if you could find the time to do something similar!

The Greek Islands have always been one of my favourite destinations because of the abundance of hand flown and challenging approaches.

I have never been to Chania IRL myself but I see there is some addon scenery for it and I have checked the charts.

I will put it in my "to-do" pile.

Just bought Ibiza, it's an awesome piece of work, just like this video. I really like the landing seen from a helicopter.

Listen carefully and you will hear the chopper after 5:40 ....then you might work out that YOU are watching the landing from the chopper! lol

A lot of people think it is easy to simulate a cockpit and it's systems....and that it can be done in a day. Well it is not and cannot.

I will keep plodding away trying to finish my panels....I am not even thinking about release dates.

Making videos is a very good way of pushing myself to do so. There is still a way to go.
