Firefight in the Shembowat Valley, Khost Province of Afghanistan

Not 187th, it was 1/33 Cav. First guy in video was our Squadron CDR....Lutsky. And correct lust...Shembowat is a villiage, but there are parts around it, like the one above with the firefight we were in, that was called Shembowat valley. Just like the bazaar area before crossing the wadi into the villiage is called.....Shembowat Bazaar... And Kullas.....i don't really have the time to bother responding to your post....

they usw mostly ful feldged rifle round wepaons 7.62 by 54 or 303 i recently read soldiers are askin for newer cartridges and weapons to gain back extra 100 meters or so right? thats why like the m21 or m24 but usally m4 or m16 gets the job done sometimes or the m240 a 7.62 nato weapon right?

@kullas924 well I just spoke with a SGM that just bot back after the third tour, and he was on Convoy Escort duty and said its almost several times a day, mostly small arms fire and an occasional IED. He said the patrols are the ones that get engaged almost daily with long distance small arms and an RPG now and then. They are afriad to attack to closly because of our weapons and training being so much better. his words not mine.

Just to let yall know..Shembowat is NOT a valley..It is a district/village....I spent time at Camp Clark which hugs the ass of Shembowat ...
