I really wish back then in The late 80's they could have The Punisher live action series not The dolph lundren crappy movie went straight to video. on Hbo back in The day I wonder who would be a good actor for The Punisher if they ever made it in The late 80's.
Watch a Pre-January 8th copy of Inception. Listen closely when the actors say imagine, reality, and safe, or point pistols. You'll hear the words, Loughner, offin' her, part of the word Giffords, and much more. Some even say they hear, do it.
Ferrigno will always be the real Hulk - fuck that CGI-shit nowadays!
And the Daredevil was 1000-times more badass than that Affleck-idiot.
The only thing that kept bugging me throughout the beginning ... why does Dr.Banner have a beard and Hulk doesn't? Doesn't make sense ... scientifically-speaking (*stupidgrin*) ...
What do you think of the recent Marvel movies like Blade 1 & 2 (He is a Marvel character), Thor, The Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton (They made Hulk look more realistic this time and Lou played his voice), Spider-Man 1 & 2, X-Men 1 & 2, The Punisher 1 & 2, Fantastic Four 1 & 2, and Iron man 1 & 2? i always noticed that beard thing since i was 7 when i saw this on NBC when it came out.
@Johnlindsey289 I liked the 2nd Incredible Hulk (2007). That film was great because not only was it more character driven, the special effects were more believable, like you said the Hulk looked more realistic, the previous one looked more like a cartoon in a human world. And I also didn't like the constant split screen graphics that littered the earlier movie. I haven't seen all the others, but the 2 Spider-man movies you mention were very good, but my particular favourite is Spider-man 3.:)
@Johnlindsey289 well, I'm slightly old-fashioned and not fond of too much CGI, that's why I disliked the Spider Man series, F4 (also, a very weak Dr.Doom) but on the other hand, I found the first X-Men brilliant, I liked Punisher: War Zone (as dark and gory as P should be) and admit that the CGI in the last Hulk was not too unpleasent. As to the future: Captain America looks promising, I find it hard to believe that Thor can be translated well to film and sceptical of the Avenger project.
@Johnlindsey289 I've read some of the Blade comics during the 90's. Blade 2 was rather good (good supporting characters and storyline) but all-in-all, I would have prefered somebody else for the role of Blade (perhaps an unknown), Snipes was often a little too tacky for my taste.
What seems rather promising, is the new Conan film (also a Marvel character per-se) - stayed rather true to the comics.
Just before Bixby was diagnosed with cancer a Rebirth Of The Hulk was announced. The Hulk was supposed to return different than before. Does anyone know if a script was written and if so where to find it??
@bobisdark, I heard about this script. It was suppose to involve the mind of David Banner controling the body of The Hulk which would have led to the Hulk talking. They were doing the same thing in the comics of that time. I would love to read that script.
Bill Bixby WAS the real David Banner and always will be - Lou Ferrigno is also excellent as the Incredible Hulk - The new movies are pants - I find watching Lou painted green far more convincing than watching someone being chased by a creature that's been created on a computer.
do you think the new Hulk movie is for new kids? its today's technology for a new generation that makes them believe in Hulk. What do you think of the new Marvel stuff like Blade movies to all the way to Thor?
I completely agree I miss him too. I sure wish he was still alive and would like to know what he would think about the new Incredible Hulk Movie. He was a great actor may he rest in peace:)
What I meant to say I wish back then in The late 80's they could have made The Punisher live action series on HBO that would of been cool.

Not a bad movie but not great. No final hulkout in the end.

@videozman1, That's the one thing I hate about this movie. It focuses on DareDevil more than the Hulk. .

I would rate them Death first cause it ended the story for Banner any way. Then Returns followed by Trial.

original Hulk and Daredevil

Another hype worthy of P.T. Barnum:
"David Banner wanted to end the running. He wanted to live in peace. But once again, they
made him angry. Maybe angry enough... to KILL! Now imprisoned, he will struggle to hide
the fury buried within him. But, he will not succeed. Now, David Banner will face his greatest
trial... 'The Trial of the Incredible Hulk'!"
Besides that, this is my second favorite Hulk TV movie, along with "The Incredible Hulk Returns".
