Just fyi, there is actually a vitamin pill called "Hair, Skin & Nails". I think there are three different manufacturers of those vitamins but I've found that I get the best results from "Natures Bounty" in the pink box. I'm not sure if there are any health concerns with someone who's not pregnant taking prenatal vitamins but better safe than sorry right? Also, it's actually better to get majority of your vitamins straight from food if possible. Hope that helps someone.

@MonroeComplex actually, a lot of gynocologists will tell sexually active women to take them, just in case, even if your not trying to get pregnant. however, im sure everyone is different and should at least ask their doctors first

I am also taking flinstones vitamines because of my son. He is not allowed to take the whole vitamin so i eat the other half and I've noticed that my nails have been growing really fast as well.

no, nothing can do that, but it makes it stronger so that it doesn't thin out or break as easily, retaining your thickness for a lonfer time

I bought those same exact prenatals the yesterday. I'm not pregnant as well. I've done research and most people claim that prenatals grows your hair and nails like weeds and also improves your complextion. I also bought a bottle of folic acid the two days before and stopped taking them because I don't want to od. The folic acid in both have the same amount of mcgs and would go way over daily recommended amount. I don't want to take all the prenatals. I will switch to folic acid after I'm done.

well, im 14 so i dont think its a good idea for me to take pre-natal vitamins like just or hair growth. I am scared too, bc everyone around me is tellin me not to. All i want is faster hair growth though lol.

I remember reading that same thing about prenatal vitamins somewheres...So after I watched your video, I went and bought some, I LOVE acrylics too but my nails were thinning out bad, I have been taking these for a month and my nails look crazy long and very strong! I did a little research for reassurance and nope, there's no connection between the vitamins and weight gain =]

no I've heard that birth control does that to some women. It's an adverse side effects. I have a friend who I go to school with and she's trying to become a nurse. She told me that prenatals may give you thyroid problems. She said that instead of prenatals you should take centrum for womens which is a multivitamin or any other vitamins that your body needs like statusmode stated in the video.

too much iron is bad for you b/c it can cause iron deficiency which can damage your heart and brain...the definition can go on and on, but basically too much iron will get stored into places it shouldn't be...and cause problems.

OMG, I KNOW. I bought some name brand prenatal vitamins that were on clearance. It was like $2 for 2 bottles. I was excited...until I saw the size. I was like HELLLLLL no. Then I just got mad because I have 3 kids-pregnant women gag with EVERYTHING. How in the world do they expect them to swallow those giant horsepills??? And I'[m glad to hear your grandma is ok:-)

I think your skin and hair are gorgeous:-) I take prenatal vitamins(mostly because I have either been pregnant or breastfeeding since 2004). I'm not doing either at the moment but I am devoted to the prenatals,lol. I have taken the Target and Walgreens brand. They are small and pink-no taste. I also take 1000mcg of Biotin. They're little and white. Small, no taste.

Oh, and how do you usually have your nails(like gel, french). I couldn't really see them good.

there are also vitamins that are called hair, skin and nails....and they are good for those three things.

thats an alternative...rather than the prenatal vitamins....There is also a vitamin called Biotin and they are good for those three things too.

yep, that's very true! my mom wanted me to take the prenatal vitamins to replace a multivitamin, though. because prenatal vitamins have everything a woman needs, (my doc gave me the thumbs up lol). I just take the 'side effects' of my hair and skin being healthier as a bonus =]

nope, adults can take them also.. the bottle says one a day for kids, two a day for adults. That is for both gummies and Complete. =]
