  • Kermit: It's not easy being Warm.

  • the ending made me sad when i was a kid :( Grover was an ass to let Kermit freeze outside

  • i remember sobbing uncontrollably at the ending of this sketch, i was about six years old. nice to see i'm not the only one..... :)

  • They should've shown Kermit shiver and freeze more and then freeze into a popsicle and go all rigid and become a block of ice.

  • Grover was so silly to go out on a cold night, but to lock Kermit outside was too heartbreaking to watch. I haven't seen this is almost 30 years and I feel happy and sad at the same time. I'd be setting Grover up with a nice warm jacket and send him on his way and then I'll take Kermie inside and warm him up with blankets and some green tea.

  • @maziebunny2 I never forgot this. It had upset me too. What are the chances that Blue's Clues or Dora will have that much of a memorable effect on today's kids?

  • @SnowbirdFlock mm, slim to none. thank goodness for the ones who bring us this and other memories here on this site.

  • I am glad to see I wasn't the only one who cried at the end of this skit. I was telling my 8 yo son about this skit and told him how it made me cry when I was little.

  • Grover doesn't even have ears.

  • I remember this when I was 6 years old,and at the end I would always start to cry because I felt so sorry for Kermit because Grover locked him out of his own house in the freezing snow and could not hear Kermit scraping on the window with those earmuffs on. and today I still feel the same when the music plays at the end. Thanks for posting this classic.

  • ever notice that kermit has the same chair as bert

  • I don't care for the ending over. It shows what a git that grover is!!

  • @TheSourceForDVDVHS

Grover is very naive, though he really is very loveable.

  • Respond to this video...

This sketch must have been made around Season 5 or earlier, because I think I remember it when I was four.

  • I thought cold weather was just a myth.

  • I used to cry at the end when I saw this as a child. I just felt sorry for Kermit. I hope he doesn't become a frogcicle. He ought to keep a spare key over the door or under the mat.

  • Why does Kermit have earmuffs? Frogs don't have ears!

  • Who Composed The Music

At The End Of This Sketch?

  • Grover: My Ears ARE Nice And Toasty Warm..............

BUT THE REST OF ME IS FRRREEEEEEZING!!!!!!!

  • Those Earmuffs Were Also Used

    In Another Sketch Where Grover

Tried To Sell Kermit Those Earmuffs.

  • Kermit: Grover, Come INSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Grover:(still freezing): I'm Still Cold.

    AAAAAALLLLLLL Over My Body!!!!!!

  • This Is From 1974

  • Poor Grover AND Kermit

  • Kermit's face at 3:50 is priceless LOL

  • I don't remember seeing this one.

  • Wow, haven't seen this in decades! Peace.

  • sheesh...Grover's not the sharpest tool in the box!

  • Does anyone have this without the logo. Still a great sketch.

  • Poor Froggy :<

  • Very funny.

  • That's the cruelest thing Grover ever did.

Kermit's condition reminds me of that of Elizabeth Taylor in "The Last Time I Saw Paris".

  • This is so cute

  • This is a very rare sketch! I love it!

  • And then Kermit suffered Hypothermia and was treated by the best doctor Sesame Street had to offer... Sadly, this Doctor was Grover.

  • @LamangoKaijura Kermit Also Got Frozen In A Sesame Street Newsflash
