@lllBADMANlll Bless you BADMAN you are of course correct, Easter has its roots in the Babylonian Goddess of fertillity Iesta. I personally believe if you want to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus it is far better to use the format of the Jewish Passover, which of course is at the same time. However, I was not trying to raise a theological debate but to try to get the gospel message of salvetion to non-Christians using a festival that is known to most people. Thanks for your comments.
Correct! The term Easter is named after the Babylonian Goddess of fertility Iesta. The point of the video is that the Easter celebration is in memory of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and is based on the timing of the Jewish Passover Feast - when Jesus was crucified. Like Christmas, this has been mixed up in pagan and other religious traditions. I am not saying don't enjoy chocolate eggs but just to look beyond the secular tradition to the OTHER meaning of the season with an open mind. Dave

I am a 7th day Adventist Christian and we believe that Easter is a pagan holiday, the history behind it is evil.
