I'm 40 yrs. old, and been listening to SRV for...lets say a LONG time, every bootleg, rare tracks, unseen footage, and I can honestly say there are only a handful of players I would even mention in the same breath of Stevie, and you my friend are now one of them! Seriously, great...(loss of words) everything, tone ya can get from equipment, but soul notes come from the heart, and emotion, and transferred to your hands, take care of yours! Can't wait to hear more of your playing!

im thinking about getting a usa standard strat, is it good for hendrix tone as well as SRV? well i already know it kicks ass for srv tone

@StratPlayer4Life both of them were using am standard starts... Get a Marshall plexi and you are good to go with every strat tone.

christ, i forgot how good you actually were. extremely accurate. I'm gonna try and learn this, because i really want to solo like that, cause those are the sorta solos that i love... if you have the time, could you do a video on how to play it? Cause i see you're accurate with your picking and sometimes you strum pick etc and when i learn a song i like to learn it to the letter. But yeah, amazing work, and your amp tone is fucking sexy =P

The dvd is awesome and easy to follow, its about £25 man you should get it
