Thank you for this great video. I do like the Think Tank belt system, but was thinking about the Spider Holster as well, and I don't want to use two belts. Good thing I found this video. I'm wondering if you have a video or image on your Web site that show a close up shot of the spider plate with the hook that you put. I'm thinking about using this combination with my Black Rapid Strap.
The big bag on your left, is that a skin chimp cage?
@leodjphoto here is a link to some photos: flickr.com/photos/areaguides/sets/72157623595047213/ not sure the name of the thinktank bag but I have several of the skins type bags.
thanks for all the vids... you should do a whats in my bag video showing all of you gear, i think those are interesting. so when you get a chance could you do one. thanks
@dk2893 What's in my bag really depends on the situation. I try my best to carry as little as possible but still have what I need for the shoot. In most cases I carry the following: Nikon D700 w/battery grip; 24-70 f2.8; 70-200 VRII; TC-20E II 2x teleconverter; 50mm 1.4D; GPS pickup; SB-900 flash; iPhone; Canon SD970is for HD video; extra batteries and CF memory card. That said, in some cases, I can get by with the D700 and the 50mm or the 24-70 only and travel light.
