  • I love red cables!

  • I've watched this three times over now because I dig your tone so much. I've been looking into one of these. Wonderful sound.

  • Great sound, nice playing.

    *Check my Squier demo.

  • FENDER Tube amps vs MARSHALL Tube amps??

  • how do you have such a nice amp but such a crappy guitar?

  • finally an amp demo without 15 distortion pedals and a shit 12 year old attempting metal! great playing :)

  • -Great playing! And wonderful amp! I got one! :)))

-Beutifle sound, but heavy as hell!

  • IMO best amp ever made

  • How do you like this compared to the Dr Z I see in the background?

  • it needs alder

  • why the hell does everybody on youtube play a strat or a Gibson LP? where's the love for PRS?

  • @jw89 i play an sg and a steinberger lol

  • @jw89 prs r too expensive

  • My 1971 Twin Reverb is always gonna be my clean channel for music.

  • great tone! Are you using a Jap squier? The best guitar i've played so far was a mates 80's japanese squier, I almost cried when he told me recently that he used the neck to screw onto a body he made himself, :(. It had an amazing birds eye maple neck on it too. Fender quickly stopped making them in japan when they realised they were devaluing there USA made ones, because they were so good any cheap.

  • sorry but few people can afford a guitar 50 years old. I know american standards is what name says, but squiers, specially deluxe ones, are a very honest and reliable instruments. and about gibs, who addict to fender cares about?

  • hi this is dave, would you like to sell your super twin reverb? I already have one, but my friend would like one also.

  • i play a squire as well and have just come up with the chance to get a twin reverb. awesome playing sounds great. i love the blues.

  • it saddens me that I have a better guitar but only half of the skill... amazing playing... beautiful amp too

  • Same here man....

  • @fooguy

The same for me man :p

  • Sanjiv?!

  • you dont need to use pedals with this .. if you no what your doing u can get good custom sounds .. out of this beast

  • Sounds like a tele guitar going through it, has that very thing twangy sound.... which is awesome!!! lol

  • this amp gives me a boner. haha

  • Dude, I only wish my fingers moved like that, nice playing, and a nice amp as well

  • @ThyJimster

    Practice Practice Practice.

    Love this amp!!!!

  • nice but sounds kinda thin

  • hmm.. i like it =)

    very nice playing dude.

  • Great tone. WOW!!!!!!!

  • that is one amazing clean tone,

how does this amp handle pedals as far as tone goes?

  • Nice amp and very ice playing!!!!!!!!!

  • i love that tone

  • 1.15 to 1:30 was very marshall tucker band sounding, I liked that, very nice

  • sounds nicer than the Silverface I guess...

  • NO other amp on the face of this planet sounds like a fender twin reverb amp!! Play hard!!!

  • 84 to 87 MIJ Squires are as good and better quality the many made in USA Strats

  • They shure are!

  • A Squier only sounds good when is played clean at low volume in a bedroom with a badass amp like in this video.

  • your playing on the Fender Frontman 212r 100 watt if i'm correct?

  • this is actually a fender super twin reverb, only produced from 1977-1980-nick

  • sorry but if you use a 57 or 62 strat or a gibs 335 it won't sound the same. It's in the fingers sure but not totally... It's also in the physical feeling of playing a guitar. the tone osn't only in finger.s They help but they won't do everything.

  • It also weighs a ton. Probably at least 100 lbs... Sounds good though.

  • 65 to be exact..lol

  • The poor camera can't take the heavenly tone. so much clipping

  • that´s true its not the guitar but the fingers and the feeling behind the instrument

  • Squier guitars are excellent in the hands of good players as you are. Most newbies can't play properly and think only higher priced guitars create better sound. Keep the Squier and the Twin. You and they are winners.

  • i can´t believe thats a squier man! it sounds so good! the twin reverb is my hero for making that crappy guitar sound like a decent one

  • squires only have a bad rep because people only ever hear them in the hands of crappy new players. sure theyre not USA Standard stratocaster, but id say theyre on par with a mexican strat. definitely not crap guitars.

  • i have tried american and mexican standards, let me tell you, there is no tonal or quality difference between them, believe me.

  • erm, ive played both and i would say that the mexy strat is still better than a squier, depends on which squier i guess :)

  • Super clean & tasty playing!!! You are the the king of tone!!!

  • no offence but it sounds very clinical to me

  • Is this the 180 Watt amp? What about the gain on this bad boy, and the riffs were cool. You said you were playing a Strat, but it Sounded like a Tele?

  • Whoa, what the hell.

Your playing is awesome, I like your style, you made me do all the facial expressions I make when I'm playing myself and shit.

And yes, the amp sounds cool.

  • It's time to save up and buy a better guitar!

    great playing

  • this man makes gold out of crap

  • is that a marshall bluesbreaker to the right??

  • looks like a hiwatt combo...

  • hey! it's only 200 friekin dollars! ain't that bad. could just be the tone setting or a crappy camera mic.

  • Seems to be missing a lot of low end...sounds too tinny. But then again youre using a Squier..sorry guys there really really is a big difference between Squier and and real guitar

  • i got a tele affinity and it sounds better than my mates usa with custom shop pick ups . (various amp and situations) suppose if you spent a grand on a guitar , you have to try and justify it , its a lie

  • sounds great! just goes to show that people shouldn't be afraid of the name "squier." thumbs up!

  • @keepmusicanart its not the guitar, its the player holding it that counts.

  • omg awesome amp

I guess it worth more than 1000dolars isn't it?

  • nope

    Accualy 244 euro's

  • WHAT?! Where did you find one for 244 euros?

    I'l buy 10 straight away!

  • It's 1,349.99 in the U.S.

  • omg awesome amp

I guess it worth more than 1000dolars isn't it?

  • I just bought a new amp and i don't know if it's a really great one. I mean, he's great, the sound is amazing and i get it for praticaly nothing, but the guy who sold it to me (a friend of mine) told me that it's a 81' super reverb (not a silver face) with 4 speakers 4x10 and a silver sparkle grille cloth but a black hardwear. it's great? bad? really vintage? i dont know lots of things about amp. (sorry, bad english)

  • how many watts does this amp have? thanks.

  • Since that is a Super Twin Reverb, it has 180w.

A normal Twin Reverb only 85w though.

  • what kind of music you playing you in a band?

  • Blues, Fusion, Jazz, Rock, etc.

  • @krumlov nice licks man,u really should upload some of em like a lesson or somethin, sounds great

  • @krumlov is this fender amp the best solution for a fender rhodes mark 2 man?

  • to answer the comment, this is not a super reverb, it is a Super TWIN Reverb. Big difference. Like about 80 watts

  • Is the Fender amp a reissue?

  • No. It is a 1977. This model (the Super) is not available as a reissue, as far as I know.

  • Thanks.

  • whats a reissue? sorry im not so very intelligent in this area XD

  • when a company brings back a discontinued product onto the market...

  • I have a 1977 just like that except its blackface.

  • @krumlov Does it have 1 15" or 2 12"? Out of curi'

  • Can you explain what the switch on the back does? Where it says ground, off, etc??? Is it to reverse polarity?

Do you know where I can get a new power switch for my super twin reverb? It won't shut off when I toggle the switch.

  • mojo musical supply

  • dude you deserve more than a squire for sure. keep playing.

  • I would like to see the squier being played as i find it amazing that a guitar that inexpensive sounds so good and like myself theres a lot of squier owners who would be interested to know that their guitars are capable of this beautiful sound.

  • This guy can play, so it don't matter if its a cheap Squire or a Vintage Strat..he has teh tone so it will sound good! Also the amp is decent and that will make a BIG difference!

  • x2 :)

  • looks like he bought the amp first and only had enough money left over for a squier lol. just jokes man. good playing, great tone.

  • I'd love to hear that "horrible distortion" people say this amp has. Could you post a clip of that? Just pretend you're Neil Young.... heheh

  • Has great distortion, just gotta get it around 7 to get it lol, and they don't have master volumes 0.0

  • its not distortion, its an mild overdrive

  • needs a litle bass, an a litle mor twang, an honk n squawk, im use to this 68 blackface twin, got a 1,15 in it, ill put it on soon.

  • would this amp be good for SRV tone?

  • Better buy Super Reverb Reissue! Stevie had played on it! He had 2 Super Reverb's and 2 Vibroverbs - you can buy it as well, but because thay are Custom Shop, they are expensive as hell!! If you got questions mail me!

  • nvm my comment, its super TWIN reverb, i've read just super reverb

  • lol i have a JCM2000 with a very very crapy guitar(more than squire) with super distortion in bridge PAF Pro in neck and people say to me why my guitar spounds better than the they Fender Gibson Ibanez One ^_^ but i keep the secrent... but its not a secrecr just use your brain , of course my guitar is very uncomfortable and have many many issues like the strings do not fit correclty with the neck :S XD

  • mm i'm NOT sure, but i think this is not an super reverb amp... or my eyes are realy wrong...

  • I think part of his point is to show that the amp is much more important to your tone than the guitar, considering that squier sounds pretty good with the Twin.

  • Tone is in your fingers, not the guitar. It sounds great, why does he need a new guitar? Snobs. BTW, I own a squier tele, and an american strat and les paul, I play them all.

  • wow even a squire sounds hot on the twin reverb. Probably the best amp ever but at least get a nicer japanese or american strat to play on.

  • Hi, I would really like to know more about the Squire you used, any information appreciated. Rosewood or maple fingerboard? Thanks! -Brad (guistarplayer at hotmail dt cm)

  • kudos for playing that nicely on a squire =]

  • BUY a good guitar
