Susan Lim was picnicking of the East Coast of Malaysia when she disappeared on Feb 8 1970, presumably drowned. The untimely and tragic accidental drowning of Susan in 1970 ended a wonderful recording career and partnership.
Was she the original singer of this song? I remember Rita Chao did a Mandarin version The Quest on EMI Columbia label EP equally good. She and Sakura Teng were the undisputed A-go-go queens of the 60& 70s.
@fhlew Actually, the original (1963) was done by a group called THE SECRETS, from Philadelphia, USA. Written and produced by their friends, John Madara and David White, best known for their song "At the Hop";
