Sad thing is I live in South Africa and proper weaves have started taking off, however some of the ladies who can't afford the proper stuff look horrible and it is so greased down it looks like you can fry something on it!! @jewel406 you won't be able to get this look i.e the fullness as i had about 5 packs with different lengths for a layered look but you can get the curls with a curling wand

Hello, i just wanted to say you are beautiful and thankyou so much for your videos.I too am a weavaholic and i get tired of trying to explain to ignorant people why i like wearing weaves. i feel more sexy, confident and beautiful when i wear my weaves. I dont feel I have the face for short hair plus its boring. I love fashion and long hair goes with my look. Trust me, if my natural hair was longer and tjicket, I woulnt wear a weave. You being able to properly care for your ends and avoid breakage determines the length you are able to achieve and maintain. Volume is different, and yes you may need help with that part. But I'm sick of the notion that black women can't grow long hair. We can, we just don't know how to properly take care of our hair.

I am pretty sure tons of Indians dont take care of their hair but it's still long.

@myalouis911 That is a lie and very ignorant. Which "study" shows that? That is bullshit. People's hair grows pretty much the same speed (about 5-6 inches per year) unless they are unhealthy or malnourished. The difference with black hair is that it is VERY COILY and can shrink up to 75% shorter than it's actual length. If you took one of my twists and stretched it out, you'd be surprised to see it is eaily 3 times longer than you would think it is. When I flat iron my hair it is down my back.
