I kno that the ending seems unfitting to Panty&Stocking due to how serious it sounds compared with the actual show (which is not serious at allXD) but I feel like it does somewhat fit, what with the show having small glimmering touching moments of Panty&Stocking's relationship & how they bicker but care about eachother. & now that Stocking has "gone to the darkside", it seems like a bit of a serious turn for Panty.

@AlinaAnn , It got picked up by Funimation, not 4kids, silly. :P On the contrary, Funi actually has a tendency to make the comedies they pick up much DIRTIER then they originally were to begin with (Shin Chan, Keroro Gunsou, Hetalia are prime examples of this). I'm almost 100% sure the dub will end up with more profanity then it had to begin with.

Gainax have learned well from Evangelion, making their ending theme song as inappropriate as physcially possible. And I love them for it.

@Extraintrovert It's not really innapropriate at all it was written especially for the series. It's a song comparing heaven to a lost lover and wanting to get back to it because the person misses it. And since the anime is about angels trying to get into heaven it's pretty apropriate. "Fly me to the moon" however was an old song that had nothing to do with the plot of Eva.
