I grew up on Bobby, but Jakob is just as talented. He will never be as recognized for his genius, but this is mostly due to pop culture phenomenon that Bob was, not as much due to the quality of the music. Plus, because Jakob is his son, people will never judge his work objectively on its own terms…But Jakob remains one of the true talents of his generation, lyrically and musically.

The Wallflowers is my favorite band. And this is one of the best songs written by Jakob. Long life to Jakob!

Red Letter Days is such a good album... The Wallflowers are such a great underrated band, I wish more people knew they exist. Thanks for the song!
