Actually, the Taiwanese people is more "Chinese" than the Chinese poeple in China. At least, they never went through a cultural revolution to screw up their Chinese culture.
In fact General McArthur did want to nuke Commy China during the Korean War.
When democracy appears in mainland China, with a Government elected by the people, than reunification will happen.

what's the difference between a western country plundering museums, slaughtering people and taking lands and China doing it? Much of ancient China's history was destroyed by he current communist regime. The current government has killed more Chinese than any foreign invader. I think it's wrong to see it as east against west. If China really wishes to take on the "west" it can not possibly win.. China is big but the "west" is much bigger... China and the US working together should be the focus.

White peoples domination over the world? The president of the worlds most powerful nation is a black man sir, and so are many American leaders. China is easily the 2nd most powerful nation (not military) on the planet and they are DEFINITELY not white. China is a proud nation and should have nothing to fear from the "west", the western world has changed it's course from conqueror to counselor and China, it seems, is the new nation of control and manipulation. Texas is not comparable to Taiwan because the US had laws in place from the very beginning to guarantee our sovereignty and security as a union. We were smart enough to secure that at the appropriate time. China blasts the US all the time for us selling weapons to Taiwan then turns around and sells to Sudan and maintains a "friendly" relationship with N. Korea who has sworn to wipe us off the planet.

Lol, listen to them reciting "we must", "we must". Taiwan evolved out of that authoritarianism and absolutism, and it is a liberal and democratic society. Our cognitive faculty werenever suppressed, Taiwanese have the ability to judge for themselves instead of being told what to do, and if we conclude we will fight to the death to save generations of Taiwanese from being born into a authoritarian regime and end up like you, we will fight.
