Everything about Liz intoxicates me. I think that's where they came up with that term 'pheromones'. They meant to call it 'phairomones' :) I really wonder how deep our hearts might go. Jeez I love Liz. This song is so good. Liz phair is such a talented musician. She is in my top 3 artists for sure. This video rocks, this album rocks. Liz I thank you for putting out such wonderful music!

The first time I heard this song, I thought it was PJ Harvey on the vocals. Whipsmart is a very underrated album, it's a shame it was all downhill for Liz thereafter.

I crank up the bass for the first :30 seconds or so... then it builds up with sound but the bass turns to s***. Is it just me or does the mid-range take over and the drums suck but the bass picks it up at 1:45 to 2:10+ Liz rocks. They all rock.

Despite her drastic changes since Exile in Guyville. And that said even though some have considered her changes a betrayal to the very essence of music, she's been called a "bandwaggoner" and "sold too cheap to the mainstream industry", you know? I like her still cause I think I can understand why she does it.

@SebastianSolorzano I thought the backlash was way over the top and probably worse because of her gender...IMO. The Black Eyed Peas totally sold out in every conceivable way and their lyrics are horrible but nobody seems to care?!?

I hear you... but while the critics are soft on the BEP, we on the ground level are not amused, not buying their music, definitely not playing it at our parties and changing the station whenever they happen upon our radios and TVs. I was at a party where an 8 year old was sent off in tears after his dad tried to slip some BEP in the party rotation.
