@L8NiteWorker I actually don't think I got as much into the show as I expected to or as other people did. I couldn't really connect with the "people behind a table with a laptop with the performance space being used primarily for video" thing. I've been trying to figure out if I'm just too old for it or what.
@Epiphyte I can understand where you're coming from. I'm in my late 30s, and I'm so used to seeing at least keys, or something. Now it's nothing but Macs. Considering how much instrumentation could be used for some of the songs, it's both cost effective and easier to go that route. Now, I didn't see any marching/pacing around on the stage, but everyone was into what they were doing. Had they completely stood still and tried to do their thing, it would have killed it for me.
It was a fantastic show all around. Thankfully was in the '3rd row' for most of the night.
