I am sure I came across this friendly streecar driver when I was in New Orleans in August 2001. I had a wonderful time and I have missed the city ever since. Must get back someday.
All of these places in this video were pretty much spared by Katrina (French Quarter, the Garden District). They are struggling to survive financially but did not suffer the physical devastation like the rest of the city....some damage but surviving. Please visit if you ever can.
I wish the quality was better but great film. I've always wanted to go to New Orleans and now I'm sad I won't know what it was like before. Great work.

I've seen Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral in person and they're beautiful!
