"Artistic Aladdin" is singing in some VERY THICK dialect of Italian (which language Bob Lido also knew). They made a sensational Lawrence Welk recording of this tune together for Coral records which I listened to repeatedly with great delight as a youngster. If you can repost See You Later Alligator, that was also a great delight.
Even the early-model car in the background appears to be a Dodge!!!!

Saw these two performing this in
person in 1961. Great rapport
between them. This the same
arrangement as used on the Coral
record. That Madison Square Garden
LP should be re-issued. Without a doubt
there must be more in the vaults from
that concert. Anybody from the Universal/
MCA music group listening?

yes, Bob Lido is great but Aladdin is the one who really impressed me...he was hilarious...he should have done more stuff like that
