@garethcroson Did a second operation end of November. I am doing better now, but the recovery is very slow. I am still in more pain that before both my ops but it feels that this time I get better. How are you?
@ararat5137 I'm still the same now, I dont think I am bad enough to be operated on but it needs managing. Sorry to hear you had a second op, what was that for? hope you can recover from this, take care.
Hello, can I ask what level was this fusion done at and how are you now? I have a degenerative/bulging disc at L5/S1 and I'm scared about the future of it, im not in too much pain but its the constant fear of instability thats not good. Take care.
The fusion was done at L5/S1. I also had a degenerative disc and was suffering from sciatica pain for about 1 year. The decision to have this operation was not easy. Make sure that you look at all of your options (physio, chiropractors, acupuncture, etc) Also check your doctors. I went to 3 different doctors and then I finally chose the one that I felt more comfortable and confident. I am now 10 weeks after the surgery and I have to say that the recovery is very slow. But I think it has worked!
Hello, thanks for the reply. I was just wondering how you are doing now?
