  • In hickok's45 hands looks the M9 like toy :D

  • MAX PAYNE!!!

  • You forgot to show the pin !!! :D

  • I ment sig saur

  • @FutureST6 You meant SIG Sauer ...

  • I am 14. People say the 92fs is a heavy and big gun. Its perfect for me. Its a very good and reliable gun. Heavier the gun, lighter the recoil. I am getting a sog saur p226 soon. I am very safe with guns and put much care into them

  • @FutureST6 you pooped you pants

  • i want!!!!!!!!!

  • before i really started learning a lot about handguns, i badly wanted a 92fs...and i hated 1911s

after learning a lot about handguns, i badly want a 1911, and i hate the 92fs (alum frame?!...no thanks)

  • You have huge hands..

  • yippie kaiya bang bang bang

  • I'm new to the handgun hobby. I already have a 1911 and just want to know how you would compare the recoil characteristics of the 92FS to the 1911. THANKS.

  • @archiguitarchi A 2 lb handgun firing a 115 grain 9x19mm parabellum (9mm) round generally produces around 3.8 ft. pounds of energy, while a 2.5 lb handgun firing a 185 grain .45 ACP round produces around 6.8 ft. pounds of energy. With that said, I would say the .45 ACP would produce slightly more felt recoil. I hope I helped.

  • nie lubię twojego pierdolenia nie pierdol tylko strzelaj

  • interesting beretta uses double action for the first shot. i have an old llama especial and it can be set in "condition one"

  • wild bill!

  • Mr. Hickok you are actually much better than John McClane, and your language is totally clean while his is terrible. Thank God for that. :)

  • @beckerqueiroz wimp

  • I wonder if the Walther P 38 design helped inspire this design.

  • yippie kay yay motherfu- !

  • What's the difference between the civilian version and the military's version.

  • @pilotplans Nothing...

  • @pilotplans The civilian has 3 dot sight. Military has 2. Other than that its the same.

  • @junior0149 I have a 1988 Beretta 92F. Has the 2-dot sights. Look at my latest upload for confirmation of such.

  • hickok45 how many rounds in a week do you use either in your handguns or whatever else you got in your gun collection?

  • @hickok45 would a glock 17 or px4 be a good replacement for a 92fs

  • Huh, that's interesting. One of the gunshop owners that I know doesn't mind me sending slides home on an empty chamber (just to get a feel, so far I like the 92fs' slide release better) and pulling the trigger. But hey, I did that in North Carolina, a different place.

  • Actually, not to be an "Armchair nerd," but there are some tiny, I repeat *tiny* differences between this and the M9. The frame is just a little bit different (you have to see them next to each other to notice), and the sights are different. But otherwise, same gun.

  • @LavaTalon73 well those are different models the 96A1 i believe. the 92fs on the other hand has better fit and finish also they modified it so that if the slide cracked it could not fly back and hit you in the face. this gun IMHO should have a steel frame then i would one

  • @peytonthegunnut and its made in Italy and when you say the frame is different i assume you mean the picatinny rail

  • oh, John McClane! Русские его обожают!

  • ooohhhh the m9 was the die hard gun....duh

  • Lethal Wepon

    need a big ass laser

  • Awesome video!

  • Yippie kaiya mother bang bang bang bang bang

  • Love my Beretta 92 have around 2500rnds through it with no hickups, thanks for the video!

  • dance little can, DANCE!

  • Good vid, thanks. Pretty sure that's my next purchase.

  • HA HA HA HA Yippe Kaiya Mother #*$#&$#& one of the best movie lines EVER!!!!!!

  • How is the compact model of this? Good for C&C?

  • @TheBebop51 I think you mean CQC. And yes.

  • Bought this gun a few years ago after my son used the same style in the Marines. One of my favorites.

  • Of course, I had no Idea you lived in Okinawa. I was under the false assumption you live here in the USA. My apologies.

  • This is my gun of choice. It's a 9mm and me and the gang absolutely love it.

-Lieutentant Jim Dangle and the Reno Sheriff's department.

  • i shot my first 9mm pistol today and it was so fun!

  • hi hickock, my wife has this gun and has alot of problems with misfires due to ammo getting stuck in the slide. do you know why this would be happening?

  • @BLITZKRUEGER It's gotta be the cheap ammo your'e using. Had one for 12 years. Never mis-fires.

  • I Jus got it today cant wait to shoot it!

  • It's my favorite since I played Resident Evil 1 lol

Very nice, even if I'm not allowed to own one like that here.

  • "Many of you have this gun" - Hickok45

"Many of us wish we had this gun" - Me

  • Fucking beautiful.

  • you guys in america are great. Im from germany so for us its not allowed to buy guns without a license which lasts about one year. after this you have many time expense with the authorities. the dumbest is that you can only buy two handguns then.

  • i remembered the movie "the boondock saints" since then this is my faovurite one.

  • hey u know what? thats fun:D i think ill do that again>:)

    ...

    ye u do dat

  • so u ejected the mag, fired the gun and then pulled the slide and it ejected a bullet? why didnt it fire when u fired the gun while bullet was chambered and magazine was ejected? or am i missing something?

  • @kaaajeee sorry i forgot about that decocker safety. i get it now. it just seemed like u pulled a triger.

  • Do you prefer beretta 92fs or glock 17 4 generation?

  • I dont know how many times I have searched Hickok's vids for some random gun and he has videos of it haha, its great!! Question; why is it bad to let the slide drop forward with no rounds in the chamber? I do that with all my handguns...oops lol

  • I thought Martin Riggs used that gun?

  • YEPPIE KAI YAY! BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM!

  • Yepikiyeaae Muuuf Pow Pow Pow Pow. Hilarious.!

  • do you have to press the slide release every time you rack a new bullet in or can you just pull back the slide and let it go

  • Awesome video, nice ass gun.

  • i love this gun

  • I got a 92 FS yesterday; today it went back to Beretta. I've never had a gun fail to feed so many rounds AND failure to eject a spent casing as this one. I used four different brands of ammo to keep it fair (Remington, Winchester, PMC and Mag Tech) all jammed and either failed to eject or stovepiped. I hope they can put things straight. I do like the feel of the gun.

  • im kind of a gun "noob" but why do you have to assist the slide foreward slowly? you cant just make it "snap" back into place?

  • @AlphaX500 if it's empty don't just let it snap forward..it causes unnecessary wear...an if you're referring to the loading part then you do it cos you might not be able to push the slide release in a high stress scenario

  • @AlphaX500 ( when you make it snap back in place like you said ) you have more chance to dmg your handgun IF you always do it at some pts you might dmg it a little thats why when you take care of your guns like he does you simply slide it forward with your hand. imo

  • Im in love with this gun ;)

  • I got a Beretta 92FS airsoft gun

  • yippikaiyay

  • i have this exact gun.. and thank you for the video i had some questions about the gun and you answered them..thanks!

  • :( i miss shooting this and the M16A2. one of the things i miss about being out of the Marines.

  • @atsubill2 your in the reserves?

  • @ddavid1106 no i'm a nasty civilian, but i provide mwr support to my Marines nowadays.

  • @atsubill2 what rank were you and were you in infantry i want to join the usmc when i get old enough my cousin is in the marines and he has an m249 saw

  • @TheBassGuitarist1 i left as a SSgt...communications technician. infantry is hardcore, much respect to them guys. hmm i thought they did away with the SAW, but maybe i'm wrong. i pre-date MCMAP and so have been a little out of touch with the day-to-day happenings of the Corps.

  • @atsubill2

you know you can just buy one right? they arnt very expensive

  • @mwcharger i'm pretty sure Okinawa doesn't let people own guns. ;)

  • @atsubill Whats to miss? 2 Go out and buy the semi-auto version AR-15, A2 configuration (DPMS) or better yet with a flat top upper and a 92FS.

  • @jamesdewer it's real hard in japan to own firearms, let alone a super liberal prefecture like okinawa.

  • @atsubill2 you were in the army?

  • @proyfix59 USMC '93 to '01

  • nice gun. how much it costs?

  • @038971 should find them around 600

  • I absolutely love this gun, as well as your videos. I love how you give brief histories on the firearms as well as your keen awareness on gun safety.

  • this guy is FPSamerica

  • @trevorboegeman more like USamerica

  • @trevorboegeman

    more like FPSRedNeck

  • @hickok45

You do some awesome movie quotes in ur videos. "Get off my lawn!" "Yippee ki yay mother fucker!"

  • @viyarks

    Around 600-700 dollars.

  • You might have covered this in the video but I had a problem hearing you, but did you say if you pull the hammer back on the first shot it is now a single action pull or will it still be double action? Thanks for your help Nice vid also!

  • @controversyking hey its OrSadof, there are people in israel that have guns because they're live near arabs, alot of arabs want to kill us, so for the safety, those people have guns, but all the the aother people in israel dont have israel, and its illegal to have guns if u are not living near arabs, or u have license...

  • Read the comment below mine I was commenting to that.

  • hickok, u have so fun there, i so want to fire weapons in israel :(

  • @WillBeararms But it is a man stopper, most of our current enemies don't have armor and tend to be near other people so a 9m luger bullet will stop them.

  • Hickok that was not ment you. I was making a comment to the one below mine

  • im 15 and after 3 years of saving money i finally have enough to buy one. (under my dads name) :)

  • Old Reliable. First Pistol I really learned to shoot. Used it at a civilian police Academy and then in the USAF. Then I also used it in competition. Not really sure why I put it on the shelf and try to find a "better" gun. My 92FS has NEVER failed on me after about 15 years of some pretty aggressive shooting. Never had a USAF issued one fail either.

  • i have this gun but im thirteen so its obviously under my parents name but i love this gun and perfer it over glock 17 and any 38

  • @24TTW glad you're a gun owner. when i was thirteen i had a taurus 6-shot .38 special..

  • In many states (most that I have checked) you must only be 18 to OWN a pistol. You must be 21 to carry a CCW license and to purchase from an approved dealer, but a pistol may be legally gifted to an 18 year old. It is my understanding as well that an 18 year old can purchase a pistol in the secondary market (private to private) in states where an 18 year old can legally own a pistol.

  • LOVE THAT GUN!

  • de-cock hahaha -.-

  • how much does it cost?

  • other than ak's it's the best gun in the world. that and the taurus pt92.

  • I already own a 1911, would you consider this a good 2cnd pistol? Im looking for one thats cheaper to shoot than the .45, but still gives that satisfying "umph" like the .45. Im thinking between getting this, a Walther P1, if my local dealer has one, or a CZ-75b.

  • thanks it really help me can u put a video of a desert eagle please thanks

  • @guillermogful he has one.

  • Beatifull gun, i have co2 version one of my favourite handguns, i love the down the barrel view, could u plz do a down the barrel shoot video on a M1911 plz friend?

  • Was it John Woo who said the 92 is the only gun that looks sexy? ^^

  • I thought he was gonna say

    YIPPIE KI-YAY, MOTHERFUCKER

    xP

  • do u think u could do more m9 vids cause i love the m9 and it would be nice if u would do more sig p226

  • okay whats better, this or the 1911

  • @techgeek97 In my opinion the 1911, It's just a better design and its been proven for over 100 years. The beretta has shown itself time and time again to be inferior to the 1911 and most other modern automatic pistols. The US military seems to have even started to phase it out in favor of sig p226's and remanufactured 1911s. It's hard to beat a 1911 and the M92 doesn't even come close. And I think most others would agree.

  • The Boondock Saints weapon of choice...

  • id like to hear from you about CZ 75 pistol.

  • @kaaajeee No hate intended, however your only saying that because of Black Ops huh? lol

  • @DickHouseInc im born in chechoslovakia where CZ75 was created and is used by military and police. but thx for the tip. im definitely getting that game just because of the gun.

  • @kaaajeee lol. sorry about that. and ur welcome ;)

  • Nice video, I like my Beretta 92FS 9MM also . . .

  • please do a video like this on the FNP-9 and mention some comparisons between these two...i have one and it seems very similar but i would like to know some differences before i buy a 92fs

  • If i had to choose between this and a 1911 i think it would be pretty hard

  • I think it is unfortunate that so many people underestimate how hard hitting a 9mm round is. Don't get me wrong a .45 will knock someone back as well. In modern day combat if you have to resort to your side arm as a last resort (unless you are doing some weird under cover stealth operation) then you are pretty much screwed.

  • its so sexy

  • #600 - $650 - just bought one! Nice gun....

  • how much do those cost

  • I'm more of a Sig Sauer fella but the 92 is a very sexy looking gun.

  • Question, don't know if you or anyone else can help. Nothing to do with the gun really, this is just the gun I have. Doing something wrong with my grip. Most shots are going to the top left of whatever my target is. My hold is fine. I'm told it's something with my grip, just wondering if you or anyone else who reads this can give me a tip.

  • I love the beretta, been shooting it at my local range, renting right now, have to wait 30 days here in md between gun purchases but this is my next purchase

  • Comment removed

  • Hickok, I am looking to buy a Beretta 92fs or a Glock 19. I have somewhat smaller hands, but I am joining the the U.S. Army Military Police so I might as well get used to it. Obviously there is a big difference in size b/w the 2 pistols, how much more of an advantage is it to use a pistol that fits a person with smaller hands like myself?

  • I like this gun even though where can i buy this gun??

  • or do you work for it until the police

  • how to get a firearms license

  • how does the double action and single action work? im relatively new to firearms

  • @azn1980 how this works is that it is double action where as you can have a bullet in the chamber and pull the trigger which will make the hammer come back to fire the cartage then after the first bullet is fired the slide comes back and keeps the hammer already cocked and also reduces the pounds of pressure it takes to pull the trigger.

  • @TheBigyoc i know that typically 1911's work on single action, does it also means you have to recock the gun after every shot? lol..sorry, its just too many options to chose from, like da/sa, dao, single.

  • man it sucks to live in the U.K , i would love to own and collect fire arms but there illegal over here :(

  • @curruptofficial sorry dude!i hear crime is out of control there and police now have guns where they didn`t before!i live in florida where you can pretty much own anything, especially with a concealed weapons permit;but they`re are gun hater`s whom think no gun`s at all would be better(the elitists, mother`s group`s that know nothing of guns, and government whom fear the people)!good luck or move to america!

  • @bobsolla thanks man maybe i will move to america, if its as good as hollywood makes it out to be !

  • great video, just mine today with 4 extra mags. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it

  • The classic that was never really liked. still a nice lookin gun though

  • Hello Hickok !

Been watching your videos for a little while now and I must say I find them most interesting and educative. Have you ever done a review on a Tanfoglio Witness?

If not...would you perhaps consider doing one ? I would very much appreciate your inputs and opinions on this particular model.

Please, let me know if you ever post such a video.

    Thank you ! :)

  • Hi Hickok45, just wondering how you feel about the aiming system on the 92fs? I have one and absolutely love it, but it did take me sometime to get used the aiming adjustment. I tend to have to keep the front dot a bit higher than the back two or else I shoot quite a bit low. Have you noticed the same thing or am I just flinching like crazy?

Love the videos by the way.

  • have u ever think to do a video with the browning high power? u can make it interesting like this vids

  • Hickok thanks for these videos. I live in a city with no civilian ranges but have a 92FS which I love to shoot. I watch your videos to get me by until I can get to a range or my dad's farm. Speaking of the range, I'd better get my butt over there this weekend. I suck compared to you! Keep the videos coming and thanks again!

  • The military chose the beretta m9 over the glock not because it's a better weapon, but because of the glocks lack of a manual safety and short light trigger pull. The military prefers it's weapons be idiot proof, and carrying glocks around on the battlefield with a round in the chamber would probably result in more Americans wounding themselves than enemy killed.

  • @maddmarine03 that shit is funny and true

  • @maddmarine03 Don't the end up doing that anyway? :-)

  • @maddmarine03 During one test of twelve pistols fired at Beretta U.S.A. before Army supervision, Beretta-made M9 pistols shot 168,000 rounds without a single malfunction. I don't think any pistol can run with the 92's reliability. The Glock would malfunction before the Beretta. I guess we will never know because Glock never made it to the either of the two US army trials in which Beretta won both mainly due to it's reliability.

  • Why do you say it's bad to drop the slide on an empty chamber? My friend owns a gun range and is a firearms instructor and he does it all the time.

  • hello dear hickok45 , i have a question and it might sound stupid to u but i really wonder about something , what exactly happens to the gun when u let go of the slide when theres no bullit in the chamber? its a interesting video u made keep it up!

  • I think you shot a bit too early I only heard Hippeyyaahhhhyaayy and then you need to say moth......... you know it... :D ;)

  • Need to get a rifle, but this may be my next handgun. Nice Review hickok45.

  • the fs 92 it's my favourite gun!

  • Cheesy jokes

  • Your hand are fucking massive! its makes the gun look like a toy!

  • Im getting this guun when i turn 18

  • @XxpwnedbyguyxX You may as well just buy it now then if you're going to buy it illegally.

  • @XxpwnedbyguyxX Where do you live? Over here in IL it's 21 : (

  • @RGCovers NY but im not quite sure

  • @XxpwnedbyguyxX It's 21 in NY and you need to go through 47 thousand miles of shit to get a pistol permit. I signed up for the class about a month ago. You want to know when my class is? December 7th.

  • @XxpwnedbyguyxX Man, I wish to get this gun too. It's one of my dreams but here in brasil you have to have 25 years and 9mm is just allowed to army :(

  • @XxpwnedbyguyxX you have to be 21 to legally own a pistol

  • @XxpwnedbyguyxX Too bad you have to be 21 to buy a handgun

  • @XxpwnedbyguyxX sorry to say but the age to buy a handgun is 21. rifles are 18

  • @nameis12396 not in all states

  • AFAIK, the kelTec PF 9 is t
