  • Since cat's ears are very sensitive then the high pitched sound of the phone ringer must have annoyed it that it decided to find a way to stop the noise (probably from watching it's owners answer the phone; it realises that wherever you remove the receiver the ringing stops)...smart kitty...who says animals arent inteliligent need to look at themselves first before they judge.

  • My cat does this. She hates the phone and the alarm clock and will do her best to cut them off immediately. As soon as she hears it sound, she takes off right away and starts batting at it. And if she can't get it to cut off, she comes and gets in my face.

    I had a cat once that could stand on your shoulders while you walked or biked! Her name was Ms Bigglesworth!

    Unfortunately, I believe she got run over... :(
