Good suggestion. It's listed in the description of the trailer. This really is just a rough cut of a 60 minute doc. It is my full intention to try to work with them as much as possible to get the word out further to people who haven't seen ONE NATION UNDER GOD...which is an essential, incredibly well done piece on the history of the ex-gay movement. thanks for your feedback lisa.

They decided to send their gay son there. He had tried to hang himself and later slit his throat. I still cry.

I have prevented gay youth, most are Christians, and some were as young as 12, from committing suicide because they thought of themselves as some described them here, while others could not escape the torment of their Christian church.

oh wow. I cant believe you got Zach to talk! Id really be interested in seeing the whole documentary. do you have any interviews with people who actually liked LIA? I know some people who liked it. heck, i went through program last year and still think of it fondly. really interested in seeing this documentary.

I thought the text over black was powerful. I would consider putting that in the front of the piece. It spoke exactly to what every kid thinks when embracing their teen year sexuality. Very moving and spot on.

This is a great rough cut. I would totally take out the emoticon during the beginning. Also somehow, if you have footage, display Zach's blog lines over something besides a black background as they were too long. Or you can cut them down to explain his mood and let him tell the rest of the story with his own words. But otherwise...I want to see this when it's done as I think it's highly interesting.

I know this is rough, but besides the opening being kind of long, it doesn't help when there are text captions over dialogue. I wanted to hear what the speakers are saying, but I had a hard time doing so when the captions were changing so rapidly.
