This horse is an accident waiting to happen. He's going to bite somebody someday and he's way too much in her space. I'm glad that she has this animal in her life and that the kids get to ride, but all of that hand feeding and his mouthiness is not safe and it's not cute.

Oh how I want another horse in my life! They were a huge part of it for 15 yrs... but life sometimes takes different turns (as you know.) But even tho I'm getting older every year (almost 58 now) you've made me realize it's never too late to find that kind of love again! I found it in my husband of only 1 yr... and in our beautiful puppies! But I do believe I need a Shag-Ra to go with the rest of the beautiful gifts I've been given!

There is a similar person/horse relationship on Gabriola Island. The horse dips a paint brush into one of several pots of water based paint and paints on a canvas. The pair are often hired as feature entertainment at kid's birthday parties and even anniversaries. Phyllis and Shag Ra are good candidates for similar entertainment and can pay for the horse's board and room.

I loved seeing the joyful relationship between Phyllis and Shag-Ra. Such pure enjoyment and love of each other is so inspirational. I have a special love connection with my cat Zoe. She makes me happy just to look at her, even things aren't going well in other areas of my life. My husband says she's 'love on 4 paws'. Shag-Ra is 'love on 4 hooves'. I know horses and I have to say this woman is a HELL OF A TRAINER! That horse is spectacular! It's hard to find a good bond like this! All horses have the capability to do something awe inspiring. what an awesome story! Shag-Ra looks so much like my mare! almost the same little white dot off center on the forehead and the most beautiful brown eyes! I found my mare when she was skinny (much older though) and when i started to rehabilitate her she was actually rehabilitating me! She give kisses just like Shag-Ra does. She also does a little bit of therapeutic riding all the kids love her.

I firmly believe that God sent her for me.

He may be somewhere else on the planet, or one of her spirit guides. When that Horse Passes it is not the spirit of the horse that you will miss so much, but the connection to your soul mate that has been broken that will devastate you.
