  • Never liked dominic miller's playing but now I know why, what he did to this classic police tune is unforgiveable!

  • Who is the bass player?

  • While this guy is right on the money, I have to go with Vinnie Colaiuta. Still, I prefer Stewart Copeland for flat out enthusiasm...

  • Could someone tell me who is the second guitarist?

  • @jga457 Shayne Fontaine.

  • @All4Seasons Thank you!!

  • What thickness of pick sounds best on a '72 Jazz bass?

  • God almighty, Miller's guitar work is just mesmerizing.

  • please....who is the drummer????

    tk

  • @Jetemande Josh Freese

  • @vigango Thanks BRO! Music Always

  • @vigango Josh Freeze, Google him.! he is great!

  • @vigango Recently i also noticed Paul McCartney's drummer in Sting's band during a live performance, Abe Laboriel Jr. Anyone know him? Always plays with 1 tom (hanging) and one ground tom...

  • Wahouuuu, best drummer of sting period ... perfect copeland style

  • Sting made a mistake indeed, but as he returned where he started and which made him famous we will forgive him, ok?

  • I still dont like this version of Spirits in the Material World. I'm entitiled to my opinion. No one is going to change my mind on that. I like when the Police play it better they were wit this song from its inception and truly know it best. Not sure why others are so bothered by my opinion. Face it in life we don't all agree and that's ok.

  • @jerseyjamrock Because your opinion is wrong. You need to like this version, although the original version is the best.

  • I don't like how Sting's playing the bass here he usually would use his fingers and not the pick. Also the bass would be a lot more prevalent on this song. Some stuff just needs Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers for it to sound great.

  • @jerseyjamrock i love the police but there's nothing that these musicians do different from andy and stew.

pick actually sounds awesome for some police riffs particularly on this p-bass.

  • @jerseyjamrock Sting used pick all throughout the Police years... and only switched to fingerstyle later on. Enough already about the pick vs. fingers ... It is such a tired cliche comment. pick vs. fingers are just two different technical styles of playing -- yielding a different sound. Police material more often that not is better played with a pick AND on a fretless.

  • Drummer should be out front.

  • Song needs more bass in it. The original you could hear the bass easy.

  • good quality... thanks!! I like very music from this tour...

  • best song of Police!
