In regards to the comment of "Adding new hymns which no one knows, the hymn tune Den Signede Dag is not a new hymn tune, It was in fact in the 1941 Lutheran Hymnal #592 under the hymn name I know of a sleep in Jesus Name.
The Lutheran Church keeps adding hymns which nobody knows nor can they sing them. They feel like strangers in their own church and as a result, they are leaving in droves.
@Baldgol4 We sang this as "Gesegnet der Tag" (in German) every year.
I understand though that even among Scandinavian Lutherans, if you were from a Hauge Synod, Blair Church, or Norwegian Free Church background, this might not have been a real popular hymn in your church.
Nevertheless, this is one that truly is worth learning and loving.
@Baldgol4 This is a famous Danish Hymn by Nikolai Gruntvig for Pentecost. Not only was the tune (written by C.E.F. Weyse) in 1826 in "The Lutheran Hymnal" but the hymn was in "Concordia"(Unofficial, but used instead of "Lutheran Hymnary" by a great number of Norwegian congregations. Augsburg Publishing House, 1916 - in both Norwegian and English editions and the revised and enlarged editions, 1932 and 1949 with music).
Good camera work. It captures the life of worship.

If you think the hymn featured in this video is a new hymn, then you're a little out of touch with Lutheran hymnody.

But this is not one of those hymns.

What a glorious hymn! There isn't enough good Lutheran hymns on YouTube. Does anyone have the words?

@Whitefoord
Oh day full of grace which now we see appearing on Earth's Horizon
Bring Light from our God that we may be replete in His joy this season.
God shine for us now in this dark place, Your nam on our hearts emblazen
Oh day full of Grace, oh blessed time or Lord on the Earth arriving
Then came to the world that Light sublime, great joy for us all retreiving
For Jesus all mortals did embrace all shame and dispair removing.
