  • This song is my ringtone. :]

  • The first model: WOOF!

  • fugly shit

  • Ill say this, some of the pants and shoes were pretty dope. I've gotta say tho, the quilted neon and pastel oversized jackets and bright colored coveralls really turned me off. It seemed a lot of these guys were not happy with what they were put in.

  • @burbeary82 mike, you have to pick and choose what you like out of it! i personally like a lot of it, and that's rare for me to like super haute couture stuff.. but yeah the kix are dope

  • sexy models!!! wooooooooff

  • Lord these are some ugly clothes.

  • who is the guy at 5:45?...and 7:45?.....yummy

  • i am the model of 8:55

my picture went all over the world

so funny that people reconize you

  • @bearviszion your pose and look at the end was dope.. your outfit too! way to work

  • @bearviszion you are cute!

  • who is the guy at 5:45???

  • fucking AWESOME!!!!

  • COOL~COOL~COOL!!

  • REALLY UGLY UGLY WITHOUT WORDS

  • Hot men!! but Ill pass in the cloths...

  • queer looks for queer bears

  • was fun to be part of that show

    hope to do it again

ill think the world must change and think also in BIG or BIGGER

    hugs Ringo

  • @bearviszion Are you a professional model? Which one are you?

  • So gay bear haha

  • Comment removed

  • and i also think that the attitude of the models is not powerful enough as Walther's intention to overthrow established type of models

  • i think is a really brave collection

  • mincers

  • the word "mince" springs to mind

  • Great to have him in this world.

even other bears dont like him, and make fun of him, and his product,

im glad hes doing what hes doing,

no one else has the balls or cock to do this,

    your all cowards

(although the Addams family comment was funny). hehe.

  • @hairyreddick It's not part of a traditional anti-fashion bear mentality, but it's cool. He can appropriate the bear look if he wants to. Good for him. But I'm still a bear type and not into fashion. So fuck me.

  • @zaynzaynzayn being a bear isn't synonymous with being anti-fashion.. because the bear look is still a deliberate look

  • @Majesticon Maybe we should differentiate between bear-fashion and bear-identity. Or maybe "bear culture" is so completely integrated into overall "gay" culture now that it's meaningless as a reaction to fashion-oriented homo lifestyles.

  • What in the name of Bear-God is this? This completely contradicts the whole bear culture!

  • BEAR

  • this clothes line lookes retarded....I mean WTF......quilted pastel jacket over shorts.....are you serious...most of these guys look like they cant wait to get off the runway.....like "Shit I hope no one I know sees me in these...LOL

  • ABSOLUTLY GOOD

    SO GOOD

    CONGRATULATIONS

    FROM MEXICO

  • It's fantastically creative, boundary pushing and edgy... You might not want to wear a whole runway look... but the majority of the pieces are fantastic. Since when do high end designers cater for big men, usually never! I've been buying bits and pieces of his since 2001 W.&.L.T and quite a bit i still have AND wear. back then he was praised as the new 'Gaultier', the infant terrible of fashion, Thank god for people like him putting some fun, and energy into fashion

  • what is this "bear have to wear this, and can not wear this" business, people can wear whatever they want, and labels are what you are assumed of them...they look great, colorful, interesting, expressive... and it makes a nice statement and contrast that fashion is for everybody and anyone can be a "model"....

  • models HOT!

    clothes NOT!

    embarrassing to bear men

  • @OMGWTF2012

    u know anything about clothes?

  • I thought the idea about being a "bear" was learning to accept ourselves as we ARE. This all just seems a bit pretensious to me.

  • Beautiful

  • Hmm, well, I really enjoyed this. I'm a fan of bright colors and it was nice to see what is stereotyped as a "bear" wearing them instead of in...leather, lol. I guess I just really enjoyed the color palette and those jackets. Oh, and I thought some of the guys were attractive. ;-)

  • Where can i get some ot this stuff!?

  • finally! s designer 4 bears!

  • Honestly, the only thing I can say about these fashions is that I would enjoy getting the models out of them.

  • If I walked into the Lone Star (Bear Bar in San Francisco) and saw a bar full of bears actually wearing any of this I would RUN screaming and never return! EVER

  • Seriously?

  • WE LOVE YOU,WALTER!

  • INGA!! INGA!!

  • maravilhoso!!!! perfect!!!

  • I live in the UK and getting anything Walter is a huge pain in the ass. I have a few pieces from this collection - but I am planning a trip to Belgium purposely to buy some of the pieces I can't get. Love the show - LOVE the men!

  • i like their shoes. look young and bright.

  • Idea is really good, but clothes are crap.

  • They walk like they're going to attack, haha.

  • Isn't that wat bears do!!! :)

  • I guess there's enough money in modeling that you'll wear ANYTHING they hang on your back..LOL

  • I have loved Walter van B since "Wild and Lethal Trash" Days , Always on the edge of fashion with humour and wit, thanks for for the hot hairy eye candy Walter. Fabulous

  • ye love the music, would love to know the name

otherwise interesting ideas going on here

  • I would not wear these clothes even if they paid me. However, I don't doubt that many people probably love them and I respect their taste in clothes. That being said, I think the guys are very hot. All of us are entitled to our taste and opinion. There is no need to knock anyone down or be judgmental!

  • music name, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Interesting...

Hunky bears dressed like they are in the clothes mom bought them to grow into while at Prep School.

    It's a concept!

  • for those being negative about "bears" from this clip.... remember while these models are definately bears, MOST bears dress nothing like this

  • Tom of FinBears

    Fear the pastels.

  • music is gz!!!

  • the fashion's not-so-hot, but the music's cool :D

  • Is it me, or do the guys wearing this look like they wish they never singed up to do this show?

  • The music is aggravating - but the woofiness is nice. :)

  • POrno!!!!

    awesome!!!!

  • ridiculous. and they walk like idiots

  • You have gone too far. You have married Fester, you have destroyed his spirit, you have taken him from us. All that I could forgive. But Debbie... pastels?!?

    -Morticia Addams

  • @TuffBullX u made my day

  • Dudes are yummy, clothes are less so.

  • OMFG!

I wish someone would show up in my old neighborhood wearing that. He'd make Yahoo! News for sure. I wonder how many people it would take, in the emergency room, to get his pastel sportcoat out of his ***, where it would get wadded up and shoved. *ROTFLMAO*

I'm all in favor of designers coming out with real clothes, but to show off garbage like this and have people swoon, just because the person has notoriety as a designer makes me think of the story "The Emperor's New Clothes."

  • Clones and Clowns : Le Cirque du Bedon.

  • Finally, some real models on the runway. It changes perspective you know~

  • Thanx, but not for me.

  • As a man who is into men and masculinity, I find the totality of bear culture to be ludicrous and inane. Serious men don't spend time on shit like this.

  • then go chop wood and dip skoal and don't waste your time looking this up on the internet. Being masculine has nothing to do with activities and interests.

why are people so stuck in boring gender roles assigned to them by their christian conservative parents?

  • My point is that I thnk "bear" is a really boring (stupid, ridiculous) gender role. For the record, my dad is gay and not a christian.

  • @metalchix

Just because the bear culture is something you don't understand, doesn't mean you should be ugly. You might as well be a republican with an attitude like that!

Learn something about fashion, and don't ask your Dad. He's probably one of those tragic 48 year old guys still trying to squeeze into A+F to score 23 year olds at the club.

    tragedy.

  • My dads are 53 and 57 and they care nothing about fashion. They shop at Goodwill and thrift stores and are obsessed with being thrifty. They are intellectuals with PHDs and they mostly care about gardening, and don't goto clubs. I believe they have the same distaste for bear and mainstream gay culture that I do.

It's interesting what your own internalized homophobia has compelled you to project about my parents.

  • "My point is that I thnk "bear" is a really boring (stupid, ridiculous) gender role. "

Hey. Just because you cant grow a decent beard and have no chest hair doesn't mean the rest of us can't have some fun with it.

    Grrrrrrr....

  • Actually, I don't think my beard is deficient at all, and I have plenty of chest hair. But even if I didn't, I still would behooved to think critically about bear culture. The value of my criticism wouldn't have anything to do with what kind of bodytype I had.

You are proving my point, basically.

  • That shit is hilarious.

  • TALK LIKE CRAB, TASTE LIKE PEOPLE.

  • I love all the collection, the fashion is not just for a stereotypes that you can see in Vogue or V Mag, is much more. Thanks for share the video.

    Regards

  • Great video and loved the track used... The model at the time 8.17 is very sexy .... mark

  • Is--is it a joke?

Why would you make someone dress like that in public? It is cruel. The models are clearly distraught about being dressed like three-year-olds with spectacularly tasteless parents.

    I cry for them :'(

  • Hey... if you don't like the fashion then don't buy it. The appearance of demeanor of the models is probably not accidental. The fashions are visionary and forward-thinking. It's not about wearability, it's about art and show! go hate somewhere else and enjoy your disposable clothing that you buy from Kohls!

  • No, it looks like something a young child from the XTREME dayglo early 90ss would be wearing (except the fabric is less attractive), so it's a little closer to backward-thinking.

And it's *repetitive*, so it doesn't even have the creativity factor going for it. After the first like two and a half minutes, every piece is a recombination or different color of something that came before it.

If this "art" were on a canvas, it would've flunked someone out of their Foundations of Painting course.

  • that's called connective thread!

There is a theme to the pieces. It's not just random... it goes together.

It's ok. You can have you clothes anyway you like them.... but you don't have to be negative towards someone else. I don't see your summer line available on the internet!

  • "every piece is a recombination or different color of something that came before it". That's called a 'theme'.

  • Yes, and the theme is "lol."

  • @meganblah

    you're an idiot.

art is in the eye of the beholder.

Tons of people obviously enjoy it, you don't have to. I'm sure you look extra fancy in your Wal-Mart special sale items. and that's okay too.

And for real, have you seen the paintings people try to sell for thousands of dollars? if that doesn't flunk someone out of art class, nothing could!

  • As a model that took part in this show, I was not distraught. Please don't make passing comments like that when you know nothing about the people who took part in the show!!

  • Which one are you? If you're that first guy I'm like in love with you, 'kay?

  • Do your homework, folks - WvB wanted bear models. After all, he is in the real world, it seems - everybody wants to look good and fashionable. Personally, I like the concept, although the collection is not one of his strongest, agreed.

  • Is this a serious collection?

  • WTF!!!!!! is this shit!?!?!?

  • okay, well, i mean. i'm a bit speechless. not so much about the choice of models but, well, its not the strongest collection i've ever seen......

  • Vile....

  • Absolute genius!

  • Can someone tell me, is that (model/D.J.)WARBEAR @ 3:40?

  • Yes that's warbear.

  • The song is by C.J.Bolland its called 'Horsepower (Boise Noise RMX) WICKED! GREAT VIDEO....WOOF!

  • Apparently all bears pronate? Or maybe that was a requirement for the models.

  • HAHA - That's the funniest thing!

And thank you - now I have an argument! People have been trying to call me a bear for over a decade and I keep telling them I'm not. Now I can say with authority that I know I'm not because I don't pronate when I walk! YAY!

  • Could anyone tell me which is the title of the song?

  • is it for bears like us????i love the shorts
