i dont know why someone rated ur reply as a bad reply because they definately dont sound like that from the factory. my mom has a 2001 mdx and its really quiet and sounds nothing like that.
You're right I don't know why his reply was rated as bad either since it's a valid point. Admittedly I made the volume and intensity higher on sound editing software so I guess you could say it really isn't stock.
@fafhcs Forgot about safety! All there cars are 5-star crash ratings. This one actually have a 4-star roll over rating if I remember correctly. I'm very impressed by Acura
I got about 7.5 seconds, and about 8.0 on my last MDX (which was an '01). I find it odd that with 60 more HP and about the same gearing and weight, a lot of performance tests say the '07s are slower.
Yeah the older gen MDX that I had redlined at 6200, you've got the J37 which is a J32A with a bored and stroked RL block different profile cams and higher compression pistons, so it should be able to hit 7000rpm without any problems.
You had an older gen. MDX too? I personally thought that the J35 in that was one of the best sounding engines of all time when pushed, what did you think?
i have a mdx with the 265 hp 3.5 (2004), very nice sounding past 3500 rpm, performance is about the same as the 07 b/c of the power to weight ratio, i feel the suv is very fast and gets to 90 mph with little effort :) , mpg is also great for a 7 pas suv
sounds really nice!

Ofcourse MDX sounds like that. You need to floor it to change into v-tec phase.
