Basically now that guitar hero interest is dying out and there is no more money to be made off of people watching the videos online (which generates interest in the community) they are cracking down on infringment. Pretty sketchy, but really maybe it's a sign to move on. After all, the original artists gave their songs to the game, so I think it should be perfectly legal to show a video of you playing a music/rhythm game with a song that was licensed for the game. After all, we paid for the game, so we should have the right to show us playing it.

I think YouTube might just be going overboard with the whole copyright thing after the Viacom lawsuit.
