we need to hang bush...seriously, before we the citizens get incredibly fucked in the ass by the administration, we need to storm the capitol and take back our country.
To hear a far-right nut job like Pat Buchanan attack Bush is to put the present administration into even more starker relief. Incredible! Just shows how far Bush has alienated even his natural supporters in the republican party.
With a crashing economy, a disastrous Foreign policy, the kind of corruption (Haliburton, Clearwater, etc) more usually found in tin-pot dictatorships, these are truly dark days.
...so going back to my original of comment of Scarborough, Buchanan, and Carlson being "MSNBC Conservatives", its not about those 3 so much then as a commentary about how transparent MSNBC is. With those 3 MSNBC gets to have Republicans on their network so they can make a counter-claim of unbias on their network...but I suspect theirs a lot of Americans that don't buy it. Republicans who consitently bash other Republicans doesn't pass the smell test. Sorry, MSNBC, but we see thru it.
...Right or Left, it's all about ratings, baby. Ratings mean money. Truly, I'm not satisfied with either three. Cable News Networks are not Journalism so much as Current Events programming with heavy editorial commentary. Yuck.
...So, in my mind, MSNBC is just as pervasive in calculated socio-political bias as Fox News. They are just going after 2 different crowds. Probably MSNBC is actually more Left then CNN now. CNN leaned Left for many years, but I got the sense it was not so much as intent but because of an ingrained culture that led to unconcious leanings. MSNBC's move to the Left was a decidely concious decision...
By the way, my last comment is not an endorsement of Conservatism or the Republican Party. It is more of an idictment of the way MSNBC runs itself. MSNBC is just as guilty and transparent as Fox News in going after a target demo of the political divide. Fox News started their network with the intent of going after a Moderate-to-Right audience. A few years ago, mired in last place, MSNBC sensed an opportunity in political discontent and decided to go for the Moderate-to-Left crowd...
I get a kick out of MSNBC "Conservatives". Joe Scarborough, Tucker Carlson, Pat Buchanan. They are the kind of Republicans that MSNBC leadership can tolerate, Republicans who bash other Republicans. Buchanan has always been an Isolationist and a Xenophobe, and Scarborough and Carlson have essentially morphed into Libertarians. Neither Reagan or Goldwater would give them either of them a passing grade as Conservative Republicans. That's why they are on MSNBC
All the candidates except Ron Paul will continue Bush's plans. Before the campaigning began, he stated that he will attack Iran before his term is up because he wasn't sure his predecessor would.
Congress is rolling over, passing 39 of 40 bills for Bush's war. It does not look as if anything will stop him. The best way to send a message is to support Ron Paul. This could turn out to be WWIII as Gingrich believes.
Another question. Had Bush *ever* received any intel that Iran was building nuclear weapons or is the story 100% fabricated? If no, then who exactly informed him of this bogus intelligence? We want names.
They were trying to lie us into war again, and this time, they got caught. Actually, they got caught last time, but the corporate media and corporate Democrats turned a blind eye. Lots of people knew what was up. This time, they got caught, and at least some of the "opposition" party are actually opposing an Iran war.
You're only basing this off of one side of the story. Let's not jump to conclusions. I SERIOUSLY doubt anyone would take us into a third war when we're already fighting two and our military stretched thin.
Jump to conclusions? The intelligence during the Iraq war was faulty. That is a fact. What's questionable, is was intelligence a mistake or did they know Iraq had no WMDs, but went in anyway for oil or whatever reason and lied to us? Well considering the story of us getting into Iraq is the same as the current thing with Iran, you can bet money that there is an agenda and they are lying to us.
have bush or cheney ever shown any cooncern or character when it comes to doing 'the right thing'? why else would cheney prevent the NIE from disclosing their findings for over a year. why else would this administration continue to insist that Iran was trying to get nukes this whole time if they knew in fact that they weren't? it was a push towards war!
And a war for profits ultimately in the end.
THE most corrupt and dishonest administration this country has ever known.

i SERIOUSLY doubt that bush cares what else we are fighting, if he wants to take us into another war...he'll find a way to do it.
