  • why does this video leads me to a 12 year old call of duty fanboy with a lego gun?

    youtube is pathetic

  • Holy cow man.... that wa more like a .12 guage! U telling my that was the cameras shity audio? Cuz that was some big bore lookin recoil too! Tell me it wasn't a .223/5.56N

  • how much would one of those aug/msar style rifles cost about?

  • @imiritu There expensive man between 1200 and 1800 depending on what and were you buy new vs used and accessories involved. Your better off buying and ar15 IMO.

  • @imiritu Just double checked 1600 to 2800 US

  • Good way to start a fire.

  • @mezz0italiano no, tracers are not meant to starting a fire. they are not so hot enough to burn a green grass like in the video. note also the wet soil reduce the chance lit a fire.

its far more easy for a a litted cig to cause a fire rather than tracer bullet.

Unless you mention about "Incendiary bullet" which is different from tracers :)

  • Nice Ak47

  • @husnain404 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • come back when its night time

  • I know nothing about guns but wouldn't tracer's give your position away in a fire fight?

  • @beethz yes, but in a squad situation it can help direct your squads fire onto a specific target.

in a defensive situation or when using heavy weapons, sometimes you can't look down the sight because of your firing position or they're useless in the dark, traces can show you where your rounds are going so you can direct fire on target.

  • @beethz Yes, tracers work both ways. They do have their place though.

  • @beethz theyre sometimes used during night time operations so if the squad leader is shooting at a target and the rest of his squad has no clue where to shoot at they can see his tracer fire

  • wieso sieht man die kugel??

  • @Kawasakizxrninja

Leuchtspurmunition. Steht aber im Titel: Tracer = Leuchtspurgeschoss

  • @PKJohansson444 kann nicht gut englisch^^

  • the sound.... <3

  • if you see the light...your probably already dead

  • That is a NICE sound!

  • @LeroyJenkins671 magnesium with a white phosphorus core

  • Nice rifle.

  • to me that looks like an AUG A1, not a STG 556

  • @TheKevinV08 It's a clone of the AUG.

  • that sounds more like a cannon than a gun....or is that just the cam?

  • comparable ARs cost the same as the stg (1300 for a basic RIS fitted AR from bushmaster, colt, etc...) The new STG E-4 costs more (1600 basic), but has much improved ergonomics over previous models, can use AR mags, and carries far fewer reliability concerns, and I want one.

  • I dont think so dude because thay go allmost a foot into the ground whtch would put it out right?

  • @annasajerk No they can still catch the hill on fire.. There's even a couple of video's on here where they do. Its basically a ball of fire.

  • i can iven se de bulets

  • thats tracer bullets... the were designed to be seen in flight...

  • anyone else see the ricochet at:10? My buddy was doing the same thing shooting at a hillside with his mauser one day and they were actually ricocheting over the hill and hitting someones house about 800 yards away.. Gotta be careful doing that.

  • @cmazzac ya tracers can be a real eye opener. i've seen alot of people shooting tracers into water and about 90% of the rounds bounce off the surface and go flying over the backstop.

  • @cmazzac Shoot with a silencer and subsonic ammo. You'll figure out pretty quick that bullets ricochet most of the time.

  • @cmazzac cool story bro

  • @cmazzac Thats just the tracer portion not the actual round. The dirt absorbs the cartridge.

  • i love these, i got to handle one when i went up to oregon... unfortunately we cant own them in california, but ill be moving soon.

  • Hard to see if they travel 2700 fps

  • Comment removed

  • copy/paste from wikipedia makes you look smart

  • lol, I HAVE THE ENTIRE KNOWLEDGE OF THE INTERNETS!!!

  • Get this, i read this week that google searches actually strain your brain enough to be considered a braintraining exercise.

  • Aww a family.

  • lol I dont imagine a lefty can shoot one of those.

  • Sure.....for this guys u get a lefty kit...

  • If I remember correctly, you simply have to block the port on the Microtech to eject left, or right.

  • I now know that for most bullpups you either need to buy a separate part that protects one exit port and forces the shells out the other, or you can just open her up and orient the same part one way or the other to achieve the same results. Thanks for the message none the less!

  • I think you swap out the right hand bolt for a left hand one and move the port cover.

  • You can on a real Styer... I don't know about this one.

Hey GSG arms just went under after a lawsuit from H&K.

I hope these guys aren't next...

Does anyone know for sure if the design was used under license?

  • I've read two things on this subject , both of which im too lazy to try and confirm myself.

1.The AUG patent expired in the early 90s.

    2. The STG-556 was just different enough to squeeze by without MSAR getting the crap sued out of them.

Don't know if either is true but that's what i've read.

  • @peanut2787 I wondered how they were legally able to produce this rifle. regardless, I want one, and was pissed that the steyr became so expensive. been seeing lots of these at houston gun shows for pretty cheap.

  • I just jizzed in my pants...... I handled one today and they are NICEE!!!! They are very confortable and don't move around when aiming. The only 2 bad things is they dont take ar mags and cost as much as 2 ar's

  • They can be modified to take AR mags but lets face it they are easier mags to use.

They may cost more but they are better quality. They have a quick change barrel, sight, quick bolt button and a 42rd mag that actually works.

  • holy crap!

  • umm, the AUG is a Assault rifle...

and you can put a ACOG on a AUG

  • You can put an ACOG on almost any rifle.

  • anything with a picatinny rail. First steyr had a 1.5x scope that was part of the reciever aka not interchangeable. Newer variants from A2 onwards had a picatinny rail for sights.

  • put a deer in there..

  • Put your mom there, not a deer

  • Put your mom on the deer and then put it there

  • msar 556 kills a ar-15 i own both i just think msar is the shit bullpup with 42 round mags.

  • man I hope you know theres nothing over that hill.

  • the acog cost more then the rifle these days ruffly 1000 bucks for a base model one

  • You can get one. You just have to pay a tax pass a background check and have the cheif leo sign off on it.. But since the registry was closed a while back you can only buy one made up to a certain date. Which makes the supply low and the price very high.

  • tracers are illegal right???

  • No there not

  • @junknut1

they are banned in fire hazard areas

  • @junknut1 actully they are they are considered a incedinary device and it is illegal to own them for all you ppl that dont belive me go ask your local DA or gun shop owner they will tell you the reason there illegal is they can start fires well what do you think the round is doing ITs burning at a high temp. but at mechine gun shoots it is not illegal i mean LEGAL SHOOTS ARRANGED BY the local gun clubs and that gun is an aug bullpup not a stg 556 stg was a german model and the 556 is swiss arms!

  • @junknut1 they are illegal to shoot on a streak like that(in war, combat), you can only use every 5th bullet as a tracerround!

  • @junknut1 "No there not" It's "No They're not" You're from the states and you can't even fucking spell right.

  • @smitty9997 only in the communist states...

  • @bunnykicker2413

    like new jersey lol

  • @smitty9997 depends on where u live.

  • @smitty9997 Why would they be? ...because you can... see them?

  • @RussellsParadox In Australia they're illegal because they can cause grass fires. We are an extremely dry country.

  • @smitty9997 in australia yes

  • @smitty9997 only in cali

  • @smitty9997 whats up with everybody saying everything is fucking illegal? This is AMERICA!!

  • @smitty9997 why would they be>?

  • @smitty9997 not sure about tracers but incendiaries are.

  • I think if you shoot a bunch of tracers and let the barrel sit, its not good, because it leaves some incendiary material in the barrel. Thats what I read anyway, so I would shoot a couple standard rounds afterwards just to blast that out of the barrel. Wouldnt hurt.

  • Tracers are designed to light at about 100

yards from the muzzle- you will just get the

standard copper and burned powder fouling from such ammo when you use it. Just clean

as usual with the cleaning solvents now avai-

lable and brush it out and oil it after shoot-

    ing and be happy!

  • @junknut1 It depends on the tracers. I've noted significantly more build up and debris in 5.56mm weapons when using trace.

  • @junknut1 tracers that i bought were $11.00 a box

  • I'd love to get one. But some idiot decided that a 75% plastic, 25% metal rifle with a gas piston system should cost as much as a used car.

  • Of course it has less recoil than an ar-15. Better design same ammo.

  • looks like it has even less recoil than an ar-15. very nice.

  • Nice!
