The woman in the crowd is Tess Doyle. She knew Rachel when she was younger, when she used her real name, Amanda, and worked as a prostitute! She's Stuart Hordley's secretary. She passes on her information to Stuart. He then blackmails Rachel in to giving him a building contract, otherwise he'll reveal all about her past! Waterloo Road...you've got to love it!

I've heard that the school collapses at the end of the series; bet Rachel and Eddie get together, finally, then he's found dead in the rubble. Call me a pessimist...hope I'm wrong!

in an interview by the woman who plays Melissa she was asked:
Is that the last we see of Melissa?(when eddie finds out she is married)
"No! She does return I won't say when or why, but it's a big showdown, a fantastic storyline!"
and still don't know whether eddie will be back for series 5
