I think the aim of any shop is to make a profit ? Just because Woolworths is very sadly going to close, they still need to bring in as much money as they can, to keep paying the wages and other costs.

Even before the "Sale" & then "Closing down Sale", they price IMHO was quite low, I used to but six can of Pepsi for £1 & they "Worth It" own brand range was very cheap too.

Well... i went in there today... and all the signs say 10% or 20% off... i didnt see any higher than 20%.. BUT, when i took my stuff to the till.. a few of the things were 40% off.. and the sign outside says "BIGGEST SALE EVER UP TO 50% OFF) and the "up to" was in small font. its all a con. and it annoys me lol
