He was traded in 1997 to the Suns then Dallas. In 1998 he went the Nets and got them into the playoffs. I remember a game that year against Philly. The Nets were winning the game by two points with under a minute to go. Sam gets a tech called on him. Philly hits the tech then some how score to win the game. The reason Sam get hit with the tech is he is cursing at the Philly bench about this two rings.

I have nothing but love and respect for Sam Cassell I live in H-Town. I watched him help the Rockets win two championships back to back. It was Hakeem Olajuwon's team, no doubt. A lot of other noted players made major contributions to those championships, players like kenny Smith, V Maxwell. Without Sam I Am, I don't know if it would of happened. Sam Cassell is a basketball legend in my book..

This is the greatest video on YouTube. I've been a fan of Sam since his rookie days and have been a loyal fan of every team he's played on. I've followed him through all of the different teams he's been on. The days of Cassell, Spree, KG, and Szczerbiak in Minnesota were fun times for me.
