  • i thought eigrp is a vector distance vector ....according to my notes....but anyways.,,tnx for this tutorial....i'm IT student and i want to be an expert on this field...

  • @25dondon25 EIGRP is a vector distance routing protocol, but it actually operates like a link state routing protocol.

  • @xxxdannyxxx It is actually hybrid because of the way it determines the best path. Link state protocols usually use Bandwidth to calculate Cost. But DV protocols, such as IGRP use Bandwidth, Delay, Load, and Reliability to calculate the Metric
