  • Hey mate just wondering how you set up the Clip Scroller ?

  • @EquippersYouthTV In the ClipView (found at bottom) you see the nudge forward and backward knobs (arrows). Now press the Midi Map Mode switch (top right of screen). Now when you look again at the knobs in the Clip View you see there appeared a 3rd knob in between, a square knob. Assign this to your controller for scrubbing through a track ;-)

  • Thanks for your Help! wondering How I can get the knobs to turn on an effect

  • @ramzijay yes... so are completely off track. They are solid as hell ;)

  • good work my friend....... thanks...

    greetz D.M.

  • can u make a video showing how to make beat repete as a main im new to ableon n i cant figer out how to use beat repete as amin insted of retuns i wna use beat repete like u have it set up

  • @deejaypprada Just watch my video "Making Ableton DJ effects rack- M Lovers DJ FX rack -Part 1"

At 3:00 is explained how to set up the Beat Repeat effect. Then assign the Grid parameter to your fader or knob of your MIDI controller.

    Good luck.

  • WHERE CAN I GET THEESE PLUGINS FROM

  • @deejaypprada The used plugins are the default build-in plugins of Ableton Live itself.

  • Thanks so much for the help. I am in the process of setting up my VCM 600 at the moment. Are you able to tell me if you had to set up your Sends? When I plugged in my unit it only came up with a Send A and I'm not sure how to set up a send B. In fact my send A isn't actually controlling anything. Are you able to tell me how to set these up?

  • @djprojex I don't understand the problem like you explained...

  • That´s an interesting overview on what the VCM is able to do and on the other hand on how you like to midi-map your VCM - seems logical how you did it - I personally agree with you concerning NOT using pan knobs and most of the tempo fader - they should better being used for something else! Thanks a lot!

  • careful when puttin the faders at max coz you are boosting the tracks by +6 or something.

+6db and en eq3 (which also increases level output) can be a serious problem with highly maximized/compressed tracks

    cheers

  • @fermixx In part 1 of this video I explained how I prevent this with a trick. See part 1.
