But the only thing is that Beauty is a female, and in the movie they made her a Male, so in the movie its a love story, but in the book its a friendship story.
They never show what happens to Ginger. They just show her head from under the tarp as and Beauty says "good bye my sweet one." If you read the book Ginger was skin and bones and the spirt was gone from her eyes and she was weak so she just gave out in the harness (you do nt see her death in the movie)
