I love this video. Thank goodness my account has not been compromised. I will continue to order from lush u.k because the prices are so much cheaper than the u.s site. It's a shame this had to happen to them and to the people whose details were used falsely. Hopefully they start to expect paypal for future orders.

TO EVERYONE WHO HAD CHARGES TO THEIR ACCTS: I work in a bank. Anytime a customer's card info is stolen, they come by, fill out a little form, I send it to our card service network as a fraudulent trans., and the customer recovers most (if not all) their money. See if you can do that!

@mothglitter I'm sorry but I totally disagree with that. Most retailers do not keep card details saved on the server. It is actually against the law not to encrypt payment details. I think it is appauling and I think Lush's comments on their website are highly flippant.

@winsoar I can understand your irritation. I'd be angry if my info was stolen. But I do know there are a lot of online retailers who offer to "make this card your default payment". I pay w/ Paypal whenever I can. Whatever happens, I hope nobody loses too much & that whatever they lose, they file a fraudulent trans. dispute w/ their bank & recover their funds! We do it @ my small, rural bank so surely it's possible elsewhere. Here's hoping :)

While this is a cute video, it's not an appropriate response to thousands of customers having their bank details stolen. I was lucky not to lose any money to the hackers but still had to make a long call to a premium rate number to cancel my card - not cheap.

And what other info do the hackers have? Addresses, email addresses, passwords etc? I asked Lush but got no response. They should at least send affected customers freebies/vouchers as an apology, not post a video of dancing lemmings.

I lost £4.22. Could have been far worse if I hadn't figured it out and cancelled my card. The hackers spent my money on karoake backing tracks!

At least Lush were decent enough to email everyone who could be affected and shut down their website so nobody else went through this. Very few businesses would actually do that.

I was actually the victim of card fraud myself very recently (unrelated to Lush), which put me thousands of pounds into debt within a day, so I can understand what an absolutely horrible nightmare it is and my heart goes out to everyone that has had it happen to them.
