1988 the Oilers were better. In '90 the Bruins outplayed the Oilers the 1st 1 1/2 games but Ranford won the series for them. Penguins and Bruins were undoubtedly the best 2 teams those years!

After this game, the Penguins beat the Loston Losins 8 straight in Wales Conference final games. How sweeeet it was. Pittsburgh is the home of hockeys REAL black and gold.

This was the 1990 Stanley Cup Final. Bruins and Penguins were hands down the two best teams of 1989-90. To think the Penguins were down 2-0 in the series and came back to win in six games, thats just about the most amazing thing ever. Plus, Lemieux is the greatest player ever playing his best ever. The series against the North Stars was a joke. The North Stars were a sub .500 team with garbage players.

umm dude this was the 1991 Wales Conference Final bet.ween the Pens and Bruins. This was the year that the Penguins began their dynasty. The Bruins made it to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1990. That's when they lost that triple overtime game to Edmonton on Petr Klima's goal.
