So that's the key to spellcaster class changes? when they max out their magic disciplines you immediately change them? I'd like to do that. Maybe make my Priest a valk and my mage a ranger or something comparable (since her bows are at around 50 now)
Apparently, you can even let the spellcastes change classes earlier if you want to (one FAQ I read suggested a lower limit of 80 in magic skill before changing), but personally I want to play it safe and pick up some more useful spells and spell points through level gains before I change. And it's obviously a good idea to change into classes where they'll keep getting more spells/spell points (as in your Ranger/Valkyrie suggestion).
Just a kibitz hint: once you've reached 100 in a magic school and seen the list of all the uber spells, you're going to bleed bones and slobber acid upon the very thought of letting go of that selection. To make use of the 100 points, you're going to have to spend more lvl-ups in a profession with that kind of spellbook. The Bishop (Theo/Thau) or a spell-enabled fighting class with the same spellbook might be worth thinking about for some of th chars for now.
"Please do not poke the prisoners." xD ahahahaaaaa I love little things like that in games. :3 Fist Person Dungeon Crawlers are the best.
