This might just have been the best NASCAR race I ever saw! Lots of speed, lots of cautions, lots of crashes, and a lot happened Racing was awesome in the 90s!
It amazes me the seats these drivers had back then and no one was dying in the wrecks. Something happened in the very late late 90's that changed the the way the cars reacted to hitting the walls leading to so many deaths in 2000-01.

I love this era of NASCAR Winston Cup. A hint of the past with a look at the future.
Also this was back when we could say for sure that Jeff Gordon was actually a decent human being.

This past year they broke that record, unfortuantately. There were 17 cautions. I was at that race.
