No, Glenn was visibly showing his bias. I WOULD love to go cold turkey and stop all entitlements, but we know that can nenver happen. That is why I believe Newt thinks government needs to solve the problem (*they created the problem). It's kind of reverse slippery slope...chip away at a little by letting Americans control some of their Social Security money in mututal funds, then a little more, then eventually we get off the stupid progressive system. Some problems are too big to fix quickly

@biggpete. Have to disagree. If that was such a deciding factor he would be cheering on Harry Reid. Both Romney and Gingrich are poor choices. Newt will be as effective as Dole in the election and Romney is G.W. with a longer part in his hair.

Sorry.... Glenn doesn't have a boss anymore. He's independently wealthy and doesn't answer to anyone anymore. So yes, I'd not only say he challenged Newt but it also looked like he had his mind made up before Newt even gave each answer. I'm a big Glenn Beck fan and thought the questions were fair, but not his pre existing bias against Newt that in my opinion came through in his tone.

For anyone who truly listened to the responses, Newt had the right answers and solutions. If you come into it as "Newt sucks" then your just a blind fool who can only handle bumper sticker slogans. There's no helping stupid.

@digiratimus Obviously you have the bias, all that Glenn Beck was doing was trying to show was that Newt is not a true conservative, he believes in government action to solve problems. Which is fine, but don't act like your for individual freedom when your not. Newt is a progressive, he just is.
