The person you see in all these clips with GM Momoy is GM Federico Mendoza Jr. who is my San Miguel Eskrima teacher in Cebu and is the President of the World San Miguel Eskrima Organization.
Thanks for posting these historic clips of genuine San Miguel Eskrima.
This is from Tom Bisio 1998 article on GM Momoy (eskrima.com/filemon.htm)-"It was during this period that Momoy began to gain recognition as the rare individual who can create new fighting forms by researching and synthesizing already existing methods".
From Dacayana's Migsunedo website-"It was during this period that Albert Dacayana began to gain recognition from his Grandmaster as a rare individual who could easily create techniques based on anticipation".

Many Doce Pares people in Cebu City do not know that Momoy has teach also in other places like for example in San Carlos Seminary to many other Students, like Father Lao, Dacayana Alberto, Father Buno etc.. not only Banoy Borja, Ben Culanag, Idring Casio, Mendoza in Doce Pares.
This is very important because actually many masters of Doce Pares Club don't know the others students in other places.
Florentino is the eldest, next is Yoling and then Momoy. Salamat Kaayo, for posting. In 2 days marks his death anniversary (Aug. 12) since his passing in 1995, We will uphold his legacy and others. Mabuhay San Miguel System of Eskrima.
Great, great video. I myself wish I could've studied under him...as a huge fan of Stick and Dagger methods I think he could've definitely taught me a thing or two!
