  • Why so many dislikes? Awesome physics for 3d.

  • that paper airplaine at the end reacted weird at the mail box

  • Who needs postmen when you have rube goldberg machines.

  • Amazing

  • it's ok but needs work on your timings

  • pretty good physics. not perfect, but really good.

  • pretty good. I just wish the paper airplane at the end was simulalated to aim into the mailbox rather than animated.

  • maya looks good.. Time for me to migrate from max...

  • Maya or Max is better?

  • Maya is for movies and max is for games.

  • i use incredibots, but is not the same, cause is a flash game

  • And is 2D.

  • awseome

  • did u animated all those blocks or use some kind of reactor?... like havok

  • i used gravity, friction, and a force field to start the reaction...then just waited, a really long time for maya to calculate the reaction

  • awsome man but I dont realy think that the paper air plane would fly that long and land direcacly in the mail box :P

  • the point of animation. if it would actually work do you think he would do it on his computer?

  • wow u have a great computer!!!

  • amazing!!!

  • complimenti

  • how do u get dynamics to work like that?!?!?! That is amazing, Adding some sound fx would make it even better, If you could make a tutorial on dynamics in maya that would b great

  • Very fine work awesome texturing cool setup

  • That is cool.

if that is a program i can downloade, can u tell how to find it?

  • lol $5000 is nothing

  • But can Gmod do:

    3D modelling

    Animation

    Texturing

and is what you make in it free for you to use in anything you want?

    no.

  • The domino pieces need more surface friction.

  • Dude, you paid $5000 for this program...

  • I don't know how you did this but this looks amazing. What kind of programs besides Maya do you need if any?

  • I liked this a lot. Great stuff.

  • Great! What kind of field did you apply for ball moving inside a spiral?

  • Great. What kind of fields did you apply for ball moving inside a spiral?

  • upload the shader where?

  • this is cool i like the shader on the glass tube the ball goes through could you upload a maya file with that shader in it so i could see how u done it please?

  • There are lots of sites that you can get awesome shaders... like glass. Message me what program you are using, and I will send you the links

  • cool

  • well yours pwns the shit outa mine lol good job man =)

  • pretty good but you need to add way more friction to the dominos... but i know its really hard to get the dominos to work without it... so all in all, very good

  • good, but it could have been a little faster, and the blocks were jerking at the side quite a bit after they have fallen (as the guy below me said "Velktron") and the air plan doens't seem to make much sense (with the physics) =/

  • Well, nice anymation although not very physically accurate: certain blocks jerk and slide about long after they have fallen, and the paper airplne performs a corrective maneuver at the last instant.

  • Great job! I can appreciate how diffucult it is to make one of these, so excellent job!

  • Jocax, I hope it's possible for you to shut up.

  • this is a 3d animation... anything is possible -_-

  • Very many well aimed hairdryers of course.

  • lol

  • you can also download it :P

  • The only portion of 3ds max that would be considered "free" would be the free demo you can request off of the autodesk website. they will ship it to you in the mail.

The actual software is extremely pricey.

3ds max 9( the current version) is $3,495.00.

    :)

  • is 3dsmax free if not how much?
